I know that women (and couples) suffer with overly friendly attention by a lot of single guys, most likely explains why single guys can't have nice thing - thanks.
So, what do you do when the message has gone unread, knowing it is sitting there sharing space with some one liner?
You obviously don't want to be a pest and re-message. After all your a nice guy just trying to meet some cool and down to earth people.
Do we have to start having some sort of secret online handshake to show you're not a weirdo and can make more than one sentence? |

Hey, I like the weirdoes! It's always nice to sense the relief in a lady when she realises what an absolute gem she's uncovered when she finds me, compared to all the "wanna fuk" turds she's been drowning in  |

You send and then don't look at whether it's been read. If they reply all well and good. Definitely don't follow up with a second message. Maybe use the private note function to say you got no reply so you know if you come across them in future. |

Not so sure about this advice. One follow-up would probably not be seen as pesky. Sometimes, when there are a lot of messages, the delete finger can get set to 'auto'. |

I send then don't worry about it.
If it gets a reply then great, if not then it's no big deal.
Respect the woman's choice to pick whom she wants to talk to.
I've been quite lucky though as most of my messages have had a reply.  |

there are 5 unread in my inbox. been there a couple of days, I've got a couple of conversations on the go so they've dropped off the bottom of the page and I've got to delete some to find them, but they're all generic 'howz u?' etc, so not ones I'm likely to respond to anyway.
