I was circumcised at 7 for medical reasons. I've never had any problems with sensitivity as sex feels great. I personally think it's more aesthetically pleasing than uncut but maybe I'm biased lol. It is cleaner though as some have mentioned. As I was only 7 when it was done I have never had (sorry to be crude) dick cheese in my life. I have no idea what it's like? I went to the dr and he sent me to a specialist, ( more equipped to deal with larger items ??) and he basically said, do you want it removed or left. I opted for it to be removed and have not looked back since. |

The chaffing of the exposed glands against underwear fabric and the air being able to get at the tip conspire to callous , discolour and desensitize one of the most erogenous zones on the male body.
I personally wouldn't advise anyone to seek circumcision unless medically completely necessary. |

I was 33/34 when I got mine done and for me, the anaesthetic was the sore bit. After that it seemed a breeze, no pain. Bit scary to look at right enough lol.
Recovery time was no sex for 6 weeks then it was good as gold.

Unless something like phimosis (tight foreskin) developes justifying the need for circumcision , the NHS I'd assume wouldn't provide it electively.
As for your penis looking bigger, no. Aside from the swelling associated after the procedure.
Be careful and research before proceeding. The foreskin is very sensitive and provides lots of friction and sensation during intercourse or masterbation . Friction and sensation that will be gone for good should you follow through. |

After the op it looks like a dog has chewed it! I was shocked at the amount of swelling, bruising and general mayhem. Pain is bearable. After a week it's barely noticeable.

R (male) - I had no problems with foreskin - until it got torn by a randy lady who could have considered males to be a bit more sentient.
The "gliding mode" when the foreskin works perfectly is fantastic and exactly what nature intended. However, many things can go wrong with the foreskin, then you are best-off without.
