They record to microSD cards, the same as the ones in your phone. They're brilliant, I've got 3 or 4 of them. Me and a friend compared them to his Go Pro and if anything they were less compressed than the Go Pro images. |

I bought a gopro copy from ebay last month and it is surprisingly good.
WiFi enabled so I can monitor with a smartphone. I've tested the waterproof case, inadvertently, but me falling out of the boat was funny. Also used it in a light aircraft.
I would however be wary of using it indoors, the low light capabilities are not particularly good.
A good investment for £30! |

"Can anybody recommend a good cheap one for around £100.
What type is best for discretion, SD card?"
For that price it may be worth just not bothering. Video requires decent lighting and clarity to pull off, so if you want to make a video people will want to watch, I'd up the budget. Not too much of course, as overdone porn can be a bit off putting. But you at least want to be able to see everything.
But yes, there's nowt wrong with an SD card these days, but you may want to make sure you're getting one that will shoot 1080p and uses a high class of SD card, as this refers to the speed. You'll struggle using a standard SD card with a good camera. |
