Well I know what used to happen in swinging clubs , until a few years ago when they became more of a social get together , than a place to meet up and have sex with like minded folk .

Hence the reason we stopped going to them , there's more action in a nightclub or a pub than a swinging club these days

i think once we've been on here a while, and met some of the 'nice' guys, we just end up cynical as fuck and all nice men aren't really nice. that's how it is for me anyway.

especially as in this environment every guy approaches you for sex, even the ones who approach you as friends (and nothing more coz they KNOW you don't meet married guys or whatever) end up trying to get sexual.

it's why i blocked all men. i know my attitude surrounding men goes to so fucking cynical i have to take myself out of meeting them on here or even talking to them. this site is never gonna restore my faith in men, ever.

There are decent men on fab,if you find yourself stuck in a pattern of being stood up,used and cast aside afterwards perhaps it's inevitable to conceive - on some level you're subconsciously choosing those men who ultimately behave that way toward you and perhaps in turn serve to validate your low opinion of men and you as a perennial victim of sorts.

I've got along standing fwb for 6 years now. There are genuine guys on here, ive had lots of amazing socials over the years, from going watch a meteor shower in the middle of nowhere, fancy dinners or just a bacon buttie and brew to playing xbox and having a drink.. all of these led to amazing sex as we had a connection and knew how to communicate with ease.

That sounds bizarre to me, as even though I tend to do long distance meets I find men who are happy to chat for weeks, possibly months, until there's a mutually convenient time to meet. I've been talking to my next meet since at November (we absolutely are meeting but we live at opposite ends of the country) and we struck up a friendship, then mutual physical attraction struck up later, which is a peculiar way for things to happen on here but it feels right.

Maybe you're not picking the right men OP?
