I'm on a dating site as I'm looking to meet a nice new person in my life. I seem to only attract those wanting sex, however on here I tend to get those only wanting to chat.
Where am I going wrong? |

no idea but most dating sites now are frequented by men wanting sex, so that explains your first bit.
i left the popular dating sites because i was sick of getting messaged on there for sex when my profile said i was looking for dating.
there will be guys on here looking for a relationship, i'm cynical about them and just think they say that coz they want bareback (which i'd be open to without a relationship if they made any effort to get me to trust them).
maybe look for sex on dating sites then the guys will only chat there? and on here look for dating and all the fuckbois will message you. |

Your profile text says you are looking to chat.....so obviously you get replies from people wanting to chat.
Change your text to "looking for someone to fuck me senseless" that may help! |

I wouldn't say that,I was on Match for a year and didnt meet one person. All the one's that were pretty local to me were already on pof and had messaged me there. I couldn't find anyone who I found attractive. |

This is the trouble i have.
The same men seem to be on every single site, and have been on there for years (i join then leave and go back etc) and i just don't find anyone i think "fwoar". It's a bit disheartening. |

yeah i figured out a while back that men who are on all the free sites don't have any money and have nothing else to offer either -all they're offering me is sex. i'm not a gold digger, just i like to go out on dates (and pay my way) but you're very limited if all they can afford is a coffee. |

I'm not sure where the problem lies here. If you meet people who want to fuck on as dating site, then decide if you want to fuck them. If you both hit it off, it may become more. As for people on here wanting to talk, chat for a while and see where it leads. I guarantee that while they may be happy to just chat, most people on here will wasn't sex too at some point. |

every relationship i've had started that way for me... 
know what you mean though, i got very disillusioned with POF coz (and i did date some guys off there, and other sites) but mostly all guys were approaching me for sex, and most of them guys were on fab and couldn't get round my filters here coz i'm way fussier for sex than i am for dating and getting to know someone. |

Meeting in real life, is the way forward, in my humble opinion.
Met guys from pof, tagged, badoo, and loads of fun from here, parties and clubs for nearly 3 years. But, 99% of these guys just want a shag, which is fair enough.
Celebrating 1 year next month, with a random guy I met in a pub, who doesn't do dating sites or fabswingers.
If you're looking for more than nsa, change the bait.
