What's the best excuse you've used to get out of a meet after they've turned up and you've changed your mind?
Or what's the worst one you've had said to you? |

"Never used an excuse.
ive always been honest with that person
This is why I always do a social meet before play meets "
Ditto. I try and organise a social with a view to playing if we get on, instead of just trousers down and here we go lol |

never used one or had one used to me...
I have been honest hand told people they weren't exactly what I was expecting
I always get told I'm better than they expected so they are gutted when I say its not going to happen |

I got stood up once. We decided on the Thursday we would meet on the Saturday afternoon (two days later). She stood me up only to apologise by message she had got Saturday and Sunday mixed up. Yeh ok then! |

I've never used one, but once met a sleek (read: slimy) younger man who showed up, bought me a drink, sipped an inch of his and headed to the loo. Never to return.
No complaints; I've no idea what I would've said to him if he'd suggested another meet. Other than: no fucking way in hell.
Reinforced my determination not to meet anyone spur of the moment because they were in the area. |
