"It's a bit too niche

People should be happy with what they have, this isn't a thread to shame anyone.

I appreciate a nice flat toned tummy, I know there's plenty of other guys as well, though most will be petrified of posting though.

They wouldn't want to scare any non toned tummy ladies away lol

I'm even getting messages from loads of guys saying they cant reply on thread for that exact reason haha ! Classic

*For the people watching this thread experiment, 12 mins to go!*

Predictions.

- lack of response from ladies as hardly any slim tummy's.

- lack of response from men as they are petrified of scaring away prospective ladies without toned bellies if they say they appreciate a toned tummy.

To those who are in the know about this research, I want my Tenner ready when I win this bet ! Hahahah !

I think toned ladies tums are beautiful, they have lovely curves and lines following the muscles. Just like men's toned tums.

I'll never have one alas but I do admire those than can.

I also think tums of all shapes and sizes are beautiful especially when part of a beautiful human being as a whole.

I'm sure the mom bod appreciation thread doesn't need people to say they also like 'fit tummies'.

Why can't people just like a fit tummy without need to to mention non fit tummies?

It's like everyone is scared that people will judge them for it.

I am lucky enough to have had children and kept my toned stomach, not as toned as I would like but am happy with it.

I love a lady who is confident in herself and I know so many after having children lose their confidence and hate their bodies. Sexiness comes from confidence. I like bald/shaved head guys so everyone is entitled to a preference

Good luck on here. Get your hard hat out!

As a woman with a wobbly tummy I do appreciate how good a toned tum looks but then a curvy tum looks great also.

As long as that tum is attached to a beautiful person inside then does it matter?

What I would never do is make a derogatory comment about ladies being 'fatties'

Jeez . . a thread is started about toned tummies.

What a crime.

People feel the need to say they prefer other tummies. That's great, start a thread about it.

Coming onto a toned tummy thread and bitching is just madness and very sad.

Clearly I didn't mean this thread to be against 'fatties' as it's been put.

But just like most ladies prefer a big todger, some of us guys prefer a toned tummy.

Not sure why ladies take such personal offence to this?

I'm sure there's plenty of ladies that have made members on here feel bad for not wanting a meet cos they don't have a huge Willy.

People are allowed to have a preference. Not sure why that guy went to the word 'fatties' though, that's just being a meanie.

It depends. Do they just like a flat tummy or is it their preference!? The latter is the reason they'd probably be judged on, mainly because they've probably messaged many women who don't meet their preference and no one wants to feel like a back up.

"Jeez . . a thread is started about toned tummies.

What a crime.

People feel the need to say they prefer other tummies. That's great, start a thread about it.

Coming onto a toned tummy thread and bitching is just madness and very sad."

I agree with you: you didn't say anything derogatory, but you'll find some will take umbridge because what you appreciate excludes them.

Although, if you read this thread, no one really took umbridge. It was the OP who stated men weren't commenting because they felt they'd be vilified.

I was just explaining why some might judge or take offence.

A world of my own

I think flat tummies look better than wobbly ones and for that reason I hate mine

I'd like Beyoncé's tummy. Pre-twinnies!

I prefer a bit of round shaped lines on a woman. I'm no fan of overly toned female bodies, a woman with a six pack just looks wrong in my eyes.

I agree, if anyone dared going into say the mum bod appreciation tread and say they like a toned fit belly. . .can you imagine the abuse?"

I commented on the mom body thread and can't quite believe how people's opinions can make a post turn so quickly. people are either too scared to give an opinion these days or think they have a right to condemn people for having opinions. just accept differing opinions end of .... and by the way I'm sure alot of mums with tums all wished we had ones that you could eat egg and bacon off anyway Haha

Completely unrelated but the penny has only just dropped after years of seeing you write "luvre" I've only just worked out what you mean!

You all do. Just some have room for more egg and bacon than others

I'm proud of my toned tummy.

Eggs and bacon better have cooled down a lot before they're served onto my body though

The threads turn because someone always ends up making a "real women" comment and berating another body type. The amount of times I've read that "real women have curves" It's not about condemning people for an opinion, but more about making people aware that how they word replies can be offensive.

"Quite literally takes my breath away!

Hot stuurrrrrf! Makes me wanna eat my bacon and eggs direct off their taught fit tummy !

am with ya pal

don't mind a fatty once in a while mind

Wow

Good luck on here. Get your hard hat out!

As a woman with a wobbly tummy I do appreciate how good a toned tum looks but then a curvy tum looks great also.

As long as that tum is attached to a beautiful person inside then does it matter?

What I would never do is make a derogatory comment about ladies being 'fatties'

Clearly I didn't mean this thread to be against 'fatties' as it's been put.

But just like most ladies prefer a big todger, some of us guys prefer a toned tummy.

Not sure why ladies take such personal offence to this?

I'm sure there's plenty of ladies that have made members on here feel bad for not wanting a meet cos they don't have a huge Willy.

People are allowed to have a preference. Not sure why that guy went to the word 'fatties' though, that's just being a meanie."

I'm not sure whether this thread is about appreciating a flat tummy on a lady or a way of championing the fight for freedom of expression. OP you seem hell bent on making sure that people can say what they want but actually nobody is saying anything other and nobody is offended from what I can see. If guys (in your opinion) don't feel they can post that's their issue. Every day on every thread people express preferences.

As far as the term 'fatties' goes, I see it as derogatory and offensive and it has no place here as far as I'm concerned. No need for it and although some may not mind it, you need to beware of the context. It's not a term of endearment.

Flat tummies on ladies? Yes, love them and have fabbed many a photo of them.

I do agree because that is generally how threads turn.

However, some will take umbrage for others expressing a preference which is opposite to them, in turn that person defends their right to initial opinion (maybe their wording isn't quite right ) and the circle of thread deterioration begins.

"Mum tums are sexy!!!"

Totally agree as long as the stomach does not hang over.....having a saggy tummy is not a sexy look at all......

I was very slim before kids. I had a flat tummy you could iron on but.... I had no boobs, no bum and a thigh gap you could drive a bus through.

I piled on loads of weight after having my kids.

I hated having "saddle bags" around my hips, chub rub at the top of my thighs, and a saggy arse.

I took up exercise and healthy eating. Lost two stone in two months. I now have half decent sized boobs, nice thigh gap with muscular thighs, constantly complimented on my bum. But I can't shift my saggy mum tum, it's going nowhere so I've chosen to embrace it. It's the result of having my two beautiful children and I'm not ashamed of that.

I endeavour to reduce it but I know it will never go completely.

All women/men have a part of their body they don't like. If they change it, there will always be something else they don't like... It's the nature of the beast.

It's how you feel inside though isn't it,some people just ooz sex appeal no matter what size they are. I've never particularly felt that way,I alway's hear too slim a woman no curves does not make a real woman blah blah blah,it make's you feel unwomanly at time's.

Yes it is all a mindset I'm far more confident and happier in myself now than I was in my slimmer days
