Hi all ... Just trying to get a feel for the scene I guess , we have only been doing this since Easter !
So ... How often do you play ?
More than once a week ? Every weekend ? Once a month ??
We seem to get to play .. Errr perhaps once a month if we are lucky !

Mostly once a month... But we sometimes get to play every week..
We are lucky now to have a selection of single guys we can call on... its just finding time we are both free.

When we can...
We go to a club about once a month,sometimes have meets in between.However we have been quiet as a couple for the past couple of months as we have had real life stuff going on.
The first rule of swing club...there are no rules!  |

Once a month feels about right for us, though it's not a strict rule. All depends on free time and whether there's a party or other meet we like the look of. |

we only manage to meet every 6-8 weeks due to lack of babysitter.
Just been to Chameleons last weekend. Next planned weekend away is 21st of August - our wedding anniversary lol.
Hoping to play before that date though but doesnt look like we will manage

Due to my husbands job, we only get a couple of nights off per month if were lucky so we like to make the most of it ,and try and plan a meet well ahead so we can get organised. sometimes well meet during the daytime too but rarely.
Its very frustrating when people let you down last minute or wast your time when you only have those nights free and once they mess you about ,thats it ,you usually dont have time to sort anything else out. |

all depends who is about when i can play.
there have been times when i've had 2/3 meets a day for 2/3 days at a time
then other times, there will be a month or 6 weeks between meets.

its more a case of when I can get someone to meet, than when I want to. When I have a free night, I usually plan about a month ahead, trying to find someone who might be interested.
Had four meets this year, but tried for a lot more. |
