A few years back, I saw this poster plastered all over a bus
Maybe it is time a new poster was plastered all over buses reading, "Some People Are Straight, Get Over It"
I constantly read threads by bisexual and gay men and their partners telling straight people that *no* man is 100% straight. That is highly offensive; it infers that these straight men are liars
I have yet to read anywhere here or elsewhere that *no* man is 100% gay and any man claiming to be, must be a liar |

I've always taken the view it's a spectrum so you'll get people who are 100% straight or 100% gay. Given how many people profess to be in those categories, seems counter intuitive to claim otherwise. |

An American university studied this , and that doctor from the tv show embarrassing bodies volunteered to be subjected to a test . Electrodes were placed on him , his eyes and heart rate etc were monitored and various video footage , pictures etc were shown to him . I don't remember exactly how it all worked , but he came out in the test as 100% gay .
It's a shame they didn't run the test for straight people , but no doubt it can be done .
There are various less exacting tests online , but obviously the person doing them must be totally honest in answering the questions . |

I constantly see comments, both here and elsewhere, that bisexuality is a 'phase' that I'll eventually grow out of, and that homosexuality is an 'abomination' and a 'delusion'...
I'm yet to read anywhere that heterosexuals are 'confused about their sexuality' or are trying to 'corrupt our children'... |

The Kinsey Spectrum...
0 Exclusively heterosexual
1 Predominantly heterosexual, only incidentally homosexual
2 Predominantly heterosexual, but more than incidentally homosexual
3 Equally heterosexual and homosexual
4 Predominantly homosexual, but more than incidentally heterosexual
5 Predominantly homosexual, only incidentally heterosexual
6 Exclusively homosexual
X No socio-sexual contacts or reactions

I took the Kinsey Test and scored a 2 (Predominantly heterosexual, but more than incidentally homosexual). I answered the questions truthfully. I thought that I must be a 3 (Equally heterosexual and homosexual), but not according to the test |

They are not "defending" themselves by claiming that *no* man is straight. And it is not an attack on me; I am a bisexual woman. It is an attack on 100% straight men. Why do they do that? |

I did the Kinsey test and registered 1 , and was a bit surprised as I am very comfortable in all situations with bi guys when my wife and I are playing . Although I have no desire to engage in play with them , I am happy to receive oral from tgirls . |

Which men are 'delusional and in denial'?
If you're going to make sweeping generalisations, can you at least clarify as to whom you are referring? |

I think that the day will never arrive when people can be exactly how they are with their (legal) sexuality without someone saying its wrong. Its a shame really because if we could all accept each other life would be a lot easier.

Josie your obsession with pigeonholing people is flawed. Some days I wake up not even slightly turned on by bi play. By lunchtime it might be all I can think about. I most probably go from 0.0 to 6.0 on the same day.
Lets clear things up. I think there are very few people who have never thought about sex with the same gender at some stage. Even if the thought disgusts you the very taboo nature might make it erotic. This doesn't make them bisexual. It makes them human and normal.
Kurt Cobain very famously paid Michael Stipe a visit to find out if it was for him or not. Apparently not. Would that single experience make him bisexual? |

"I don't think it helps with Fab straight and also over the years I have seen a few straight guys become curious. But I still believe 100% straight is possible too. "
According to Kinsey, who is often misquoted here to support bisexuality or or homosexuality, the scale is 0 for Exclusively heterosexual and 6 for Exclusively homosexual
The test also has:
X - Non-sexual
F - The test failed to match you to a Kinsey Type profile. Either you answered some questions wrong, or you are a very unusual person
It could be that, unlike in the mainstream world, there are a lot of men on FabS who are a 'F' and that is why the perception is that *no* man on FabS is 100% straight |

Same here...I repeatedly score a 2 on different versions of the test, even though I identify as bisexual rather than bicurious.
Of course, my result may well be influenced by the fact that I only came to terms with my bisexuality after joining fab...consequently, my experiences with other men are still relatively limited...

It isn't me who is obsessed. I am comfortable with accepting you the way you describe yourself. It is some bisexual men here who are not willing to accept that 100% straight men exist. That is offensive!

Exactly. 100% straight men do not have sex with men; only bisexual or gay men do. Any man who states that he is straight and then has sex with other men, TV/TS, either does not know what heterosexual means or is not being truthful about his sexuality |

"IAccording to Kinsey, who is often misquoted here to support bisexuality or or homosexuality...
How do you mean, 'misquoted to support bisexuality or homosexuality'?"
Some people here state that the Kinsey Scale represents 'fluid sexuality' and that *nobody* is exclusively heterosexual or exclusively homosexual; that *everyone* is bisexual to some degree
Kinsey states otherwise. People are 100% heterosexual or 100% homosexual and then there are those who are neither 100% heterosexual nor 100% homosexual; they are bisexual and that bisexuality is a continuum between the two end points |

Yes there are 100% straight men, I can categorically claim it.
The thought of me sleeping with another guy is as far removed from my thoughts as it could possibly be. I have no issues with people who bi curious, sexual or full on gay. Each to their own as long as you're happy.
But for me? No, just no! EVER! The thought of some guys balls smashing into mine like a game of conkers just isn't appealing one little bit! Don't get me wrong, I can look at a guy and say "Yeah that is one good looking handsome man!"
Do I then want to run over and pop his cock in my mouth? No of course not. I don't understand this obsession with STRAIGHT men at the moment? One thing that pisses me off everytime I see it is the term "Fab Straight"
It's not straight guys pretending to be bi! It's bi guys pretending to be straight in order to get meets from couples or women who don't meet bi guys! So would rather lie about their sexuality to dupe people into meeting them! The correct terminology should be "Fab Bi" not "Fab Straight"

So take a person who is 0.0 on the Kinsey scale and put them on a lie detector ask 'have you ever in your whole life had a thought of a homosexual act'. 0.0 might become 0.000001
I know of very few drivers who have never exceeded the speed limit at some point. Would I describe them as criminals? No. Do they qualify for sainthood? No.
Claiming to be 100% of something rather than 90.999999% isn't easy particularly since part our sexuality is determined by hormones and the human body produces both estrogen and testosterone.
When people say that no one is 100% straight they are not suggesting that every man who considers himself straight actually wants sex with another man. They are just saying that 100% is a degree of purity that isn't often found in nature. |

This point of view is caused by a lack of understanding of the difference between a gay man and a bi man. Most of the bi guys I know are essentially straight but refuse to let other people dictate the boundaries of their sexuality. Try and think of a bisexual person as one who operates in two modes. 100% gay and 100% straight. What happens when a guy is in 100% straight mode and now he gets told by someone ignorant of male bisexuality that he won't be able to hold back when cock and balls present themselves?
Just because we choose to do something now and again doesn't mean we unable to control ourselves. |

There I agree with you. Although, there are some idjits who do not hold back when they should. We encountered one of them and that put my boyfriend off for life in having a mmf with me and a bisexual man
You are forgetting that I, as a bisexual woman, am completely familiar with the 'concept'
When with my boyfriend, I am 100% heterosexual. I don't even think of other women. But let me loose in a swinger's club and my eyes start to wander; let me in close proximity with another bisexual woman and for a few minutes, I forget that he even exists |

I'm far from ignorant of male bi sexuality. Neither have I implied that bi sexual men cannot control themselves.
Whether you choose to play with men rarely or constantly still makes you bi sexual does it not? |

"So take a person who is 0.0 on the Kinsey scale and put them on a lie detector ask 'have you ever in your whole life had a thought of a homosexual act'.
How do you know that there aren't men who have *never* even thought about sex with a man and if the thought crossed there mind, they felt repulsed by the idea?
Now some here will call them, homophobes; I call them heterosexual men. I guess you would call them a figment of the mainstream world's imagination"
Maybe there are men who've never had a guy/guy thought. What's sure as nuts is that there's a lot of guys out there who have them but would rather die than admit it. And for this reason no one will ever know. |

"Yes there are 100% straight men, I can categorically claim it.

Quite correct. But there is a prevalent belief that bi men are unable to play straight. This belief is responsible for a large number of profiles explicitly excluding bi men. If the thought of someone being bi is a turn off I say fair enough. If a person is making the inabilty to play straight a characteristic of bisexual men then I would say that person is making a generalisation from a few individual acts. |

But people do make generalisations from a few individual acts. They won't keep on meeting with each and every bisexual man in the world to gather statistics, before deciding

Certainly human knowledge is nothing more than a database of experiences. Like I said at the beginning, if that accidental touching happened its because the guy was an ass not because he was bi. Maybe you should exclude asses not bi guys.
Personally as a bi guy I have been in over 50 meets where males are were in close proximity and have been totally focused on the ladies in every case. I've never even had the urge. Yet you are telling me it's the nature of the beast I am. So I am now guilty of things I haven't done because someone else did them. Wonderful. |

But do try to see this from the perspective of a straight man. Straight men, generally abhor any kind of sexual contact with other men. I am not talking about accidental body contact where a woman is in between the two of them. I am talking about a touch, etc
Now think of the self-control a straight man has to exercise not to escalate the situation any further but just bite his tongue and wait for the sorry episode to finally end. Now, whilst still seeing this from the perspective of a straight man, would you chance it again with someone you have just met in a club and know nothing about?
If you would, then you are certainly a stronger man than my boyfriend is. I would grant you that |

"An American university studied this , and that doctor from the tv show embarrassing bodies volunteered to be subjected to a test . Electrodes were placed on him , his eyes and heart rate etc were monitored and various video footage , pictures etc were shown to him . I don't remember exactly how it all worked , but he came out in the test as 100% gay "
It could be, and this is just a guess, that he IS gay. Now I'm not saying that the FACT he came out as gay many many years ago (even before he qualified as a doctor) could have influenced this test in any way shape or form, but it may just have |

Same answer. The guy touched your boyfriend because he was an ass. You get straight guys who touch women at clubs for the same reason. They are asses.
I am saying that you should spend more time assessing each individual on their character and less time attributing characteristics to various sexual orientations. We don't come off a production line built to a blueprint. We are individuals all with our own faults and strong points.
Please consider that you are sensitised to bisexual males and after your first experience any genuinely innocent accidental touch now probably won't get the benefit of the doubt that a straight guy would get. That is probably a good reason not to meet bi guys. Not because they are all handsy but because you are traumatised. |

So, we compromised. I will meet with bisexual men when on my own; and we will meet with straight men when together
But that is not what the thread was about. What my question was that why do *some* bisexual mean deny that 100% straight men exist and are the majority? Is it some kind of a defence mechanism? A kind of 'safety in numbers? Whatever it is, it is offensive and unfounded suggestion |

Its not offensive. You just find it offensive. There's a difference.
They aren't suggesting that a man who is 99.999999% percent straight is going to run off on and have sex with men. They are just suggesting that there's a man in every woman and a woman in every man no matter how small. Purity and perfection go against nature. Why do men produce oestrogen? Why do women produce Testosterone? In the first stages of human growth the sex is not yet determined. How can we be so diametrically opposed if we start off the same way?
Curiosity is an essential part of human nature and to deny it exists is to suggest that a person is abnormal. I don't see how calling someone normal as opposed to a freak of nature is offensive? |

I scored a 2, thought it would probably be higher. I tried basis combinations of answers to foil the test and still got a 2. My guess is that to get a higher (or lower) score, some of the answers have to be counter-intuitive. |

straight men who get pegged by women remain straight...its a heterosexual interaction...a male and female.

PS. What is 'handsy'? [English is not my first language]"
handsy
/han(d)zi/
adjective informal
tending to touch other people, typically in a way that is inappropriate or unwanted.
"another participant is getting a bit handsy"
I'd make you google it. But you were too busy vandalizing vehicles. |

If a guy takes it up the rear be it by a cock or a dildo he is now sodomized. Gay or bi.
He may have relationships with women but likes gay or bi sex ... sodomy |

"...
Citation, please. Otherwise, it is offensive just as the suggestion that all bisexual men are predatory is offensive to you
It's not offensive if you think all bi men are predatory. Just wrong. And also conceited to think he's so irresistible. I might think your boyfriend is a hound and there's not enough momey in the world to make me touch him. "
I sometimes think that too, especially when he behaves like a Neanderthal
And *I* did not suggest that you find him irresistible or otherwise; it is you who have now stated this twice (or more). Perhaps it is you who needs to evaluate why you think that others are thinking that you find each and every man irresistible
I don't find each and every woman irresistible; only the one so far on this thread but she is 'homophobic' |

It's easy to discredit something I said in general to you putting it in a situation as in a medical exam or even an assault, that's in circumstances. If you enjoy anal play via a male being penetrated he is gay or bi or likes gay or bi play. Easy peasy |

Size doesn't matter. As some would point out, he is bisexual to begin with as there is nothing known as a straight man. So he might as well take a finger, strap-on or even a torpedo; he is 'doomed' even before he started |

I agree with you. Do people even think about what they are saying? You could extrapolate that argument and say that any man who has masterbated is at the very least bi because he has had sex with himself (a man) and doesn't mind playing with cock at all. |

but it's penetration by a woman..." Yeah but I'm saying the act itself is bi or gay. Just as discussed before by a bi guy you don't actually need to have sex with a man to be bi. If you fantasise about it it can also be bi. |

"Can't believe you can't even express your opinion this site of all places
you can, and have, expressed your opinion, no-one has stopped you...but it is an open forum therefore people are equally entitled to disagree with you, thats the point of an open forum."
Your quite right about that, only thing you've been right about this afternoon |

" I think the 1's who get pegged as well.
Are you saying that any guy, who with a female partner partakes in some strap on play is bi sexual? In my opinion yes.

so at what exact point does the penetration issue change..finger size, thumb size..whacking great dildo?...at what size do you think it means youre gay?
Any size if you enjoy it sodomy is a gay act why is it so hard for people to accept lol
if a man anally penetrates a woman it is still sodomy...how is that gay? you are wrong,it is very very simple. no-one is telling you you have to like it, but you are wrong.
It's sodomy which is a gay act, but it doesn't make him gay if it's with a woman, I can agree to that.
If she pegs him though it's gay/bi.
Only a gay or bi wants cock or toy cock in there arse don't matter if a girl did it
what utter nonsense! that is laughable..amazes me that on a site like this there are people who are so completely ignorant and uneducated.
I agree with you. Do people even think about what they are saying? You could extrapolate that argument and say that any man who has masterbated is at the very least bi because he has had sex with himself (a man) and doesn't mind playing with cock at all."
I'm talking about anal penetration not self masturbation |

Surely the plural is spelt as 'penii'"
Nope. Even in latin the plural is penes. But if if it keeps the paint on my car I'll call it what you want.
So Josie does your 100% straight man play with a penis and bring it too ejaculation or is he too straight to masterbate? I'm learning all the time. |

Could you tell me why a man being anally penetrated is a gay act even if no other men are involved. I always though the word "gay" meant activity with the same sex. Could you point to a definition where it means sexual activity where no one else of the same sex is involved. |

Depends how you view it. Blowing your nose is just one step away from blowing someone elses. Proably how it starts.
Touching a cock is touching a cock. I don't think the small matter of ownership is important.
If prostate stimulation is a matter of heightening orgasm and has nothing to do with attraction to other males. I'll bet you there's loads of '100% hetrosexual males' whose wives have anal beads in the toy box.

I've said this before, but here goes:
Take a 100% straight guy from this thread, stick a toy up there and get him to ejaculate. I guarantee most will find it the most amazing experience and will be screaming the house down (even if they feel shame/repulsed after).
Do I think it means they fancy guys - absolutely not.
Also - what I don't think is reflected is how things change over time. I used to find the sight of a naked guy completely repulsive - now I don't at all.
If you told me that aged 30 I'd have laughed at you. Loads of guys seem to find they change as they get older though. |

Not exactly - it doesn't make me "feel better", I felt fine to start with.
I've read plenty of anecdotes from guys on here and elsewhere saying exactly the same thing. I've spoken to gay/bi friends who say they changed over time.
How common it is open to question, but it does happen.
It might even happen to some 100% straight guys on fab in the future |

Surely though, if a person is gay, then in no situation can they be straight, as straight is an absolute
Even a tiny bit gay is gay, straight isn't mostly straight its either you are straight or not

I believe there is 100% hetro, 100% gay,
and a whole lot of varying percentages either way in between.
But ultimately, does it really matter?
If someone likes to label or associate themselves with any one specific category, then fine. Where most people go wrong is labelling someone else who they don't know.

Oh it's just pathetic. I've been giving a guy a blowjob while he kept yattering on about not being gay, he just wanted to see what it was like.
I'm sure some men and ladies are straight.
But does it matter? If some one you don't like asks just say no |

"A few years back, I saw this poster plastered all over a bus
Maybe it is time a new poster was plastered all over buses reading, "Some People Are Straight, Get Over It"
I constantly read threads by bisexual and gay men and their partners telling straight people that *no* man is 100% straight. That is highly offensive; it infers that these straight men are liars
I have yet to read anywhere here or elsewhere that *no* man is 100% gay and any man claiming to be, must be a liar
I give this post 100% of my support. "
