which would you pick looks or personality i have 100's of messages aday about my looks and 100's more asking why i am friends with what they call ugly guys |

Just to be on the safe side....if they've got a brilliant personality that far out shines their beauty...you could always take two brown paper bags with you!! One to put on his /her head and one for yours just in case their's fell off!! |

Looks tend to be the bait that gets our atention, with personality the thing that catches us..
Though wiggles has been known to sudenly want a guy thats far from her normal taste, simply due to having an amazing laugh. |

Could not have said it better myself, there has to be a bit of both, i cant play with someone i dont find a little attractive, no matter what presonality they have. But on the other hand they could be drop dead Lush but if they aint got a personality then a no no. So for us yehh deffinatly a bit of both xxx |

Some people are beautiful on the outside, some people are beautiful on the inside, very few are both and looks alone will never outshine a stunning personality.
I know i'm handsome and now I have a stunning personality too thanks to my new taser

I've got to say its a bit of both for us tho we tend to go for personality more. Looks are nothing without a personality to go with it. Some people are really good looking and they know it but can be really arrogant and big headed with it.  |

The thing is what is ugly to them may not be to you, look at Christina Aguilera's husband, definitely not good looking but she obviously thought so or at least was attracted to him that she married him. Angeline Jolie also married someone not that good looking but was attracted to something about him

Its an tricky question to answer - This is a site that (in the main) is fed off looking at the pictures of prospective meets before ever talking to them.
Nearly every contact we have had asks for face pics in the first or second message and after that, its down to the chit chat. Its difficult to convey a sense of personality over email as adding in the inflection and subtext is difficult and at the whim of the reader, not the writer.
But in our experience, is 30% looks, 60% personality and 10% on buying a round. |

for me it has to be a good mixture of both but i do go for looks first
If i find someone good looking i will take the time to get to know them a bit
If im not attracted to them i dont bother getting to know them as theres no point as im not going to have sex with them
But no matter how good looking they are they need a good personality too or its going nowhere |

Looks 25%
If I met someone with great personality that I was totally unattracted to - it wouldn't work. Likewise, a total catwalk stunner with no personality isn't really going to work either and would just be going through the motions and unfulfilling! |
