Chatting and meeting

Had a social meet on Thursday with a lady, which flowed along ok but we both knew that we were incompatible straight away. I was willing to move on with swinging but she is here to find the one, a partner and not nsa or hook ups or for an fb or fwb.

We chatted for so long previously here and by email/text so now I feel as though we have wasted time. It is far better to meet for that social sooner than later, so then you can find out if it is a match of some sort. So much time can be wasted on that cyber chat, but I suppose some people just like chatting and never getting together.

I would say maybe 2-3 nights of messaging then arrange a meet. Does anyone else have any advice as to when to meet after so much chat?

I agree. I'm useless when chatting via messages anyway. I exchange 3 or 4 then it's time to meet. I dont think you can connect as well via messaging as you do face to face

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I can usually tell within a handful of messages whether we will be compatible, so try not to waste too much time chatting.

From a woman's perspective - I don't have time to meet everyone who I 'might' get on with (or get it on with!) so I have to chat until I am more sure, one way or another. Most men don't wave to invest the time, so I don't meet most men - but I am clear on my profile I don't want nsa.

The chat went so well for about a week that we thought we might hit it off, but now the chat feels futile (if that is the right word).
