Ok. So. This is my take on it.

I actually think myths tend to have a degree of truth to them.
I also notice that a lot of people who say otherwise tend to be those who dont want it to be true. Found it amusing how many people would claim it was a myth but would have a profile which stated..."no blacks or asians". Makes one wonder how someone is able to know this despite claiming not to actually fraternize with any black men.
