.... I always wear trousers, shirt, tie and waistcoat when meeting as I really like to make an effort in how I look and smell ... Is it to much that I expect the same in return ? Is it to much me wearing this ?
Would love to hear others thoughts on this ! |

If that's the kind of outfit that makes you happy and you're comfortable in it then that's great, but many people wouldn't feel on their A game dressing like they were going to a job interview .
If you have standards of dress you would like to see try to only arrange meets with people who state they like the same or discuss it beforehand. |

wear it if youre comfy and relaxed - i like pants and shirt - waistcoat not so much so but thats just me unless its worn as part of a suit then thats nice - never going to please all - and so much better that than no effort |

I would always aim to look my best when meeting someone for the first time but I also need to feel comfortable and would want them to as well. If theyre a suit kinda guy then cool but I wouldn't expect them to wear one if theyre not. |

Would totally depend on where I was meeting !
If it was a pub social (I've only had 1) it would be jeans and shirt !!
If I was comfortable with the person and it was a home/hotel meet I would be suited and booted !
I like the scenario being set up a little to allow me to wear this !! |

I prefer the guy to wear jeans and a t shirt or shirt or even a footy shirt. |

I met someone who warned me beforehand that he had been suited and booted all week whilst away on business and that he would be casually dressed I said that's perfectly fine, however his idea of casual was clothes that you would expect to do the garden in, he had not showered either! First and last meet with him, as long as you and your clothes are clean and ironed then you would do for me! |

if that's what your comfortable in o.p then that's what works for you.
i can't stand all that shirt and trouser business though so not for me, jeans and a tee is just fine. i don't actually own any 'proper' trousers or shoes and definitely won't buy any just for a meet. |

Well we are all different and have didn't likes and dislikes me personally I always make an effort jeans and a shirt is me dressing casual ... I haven't met many and don't expect to its not me at all but when I do I put the effort in and would always expect the same in return or it's a instant turn off for me like the only social I've had so far .... No effort was made so I didn't stay long |

I would very much appreciate a guy making that kind of effort!
I would always make an effort to look my best hence I don't do things like meeting for a quick coffee during my lunch break.
I definitely do not look my best then! |

Goes well with a pair of shoes from Clarke's too. |
