Maybe I was being naiive and didn't believe people actually used Tinder for sex? I've only had it for about a couple of weeks and find the women much more direct and easy going than (some) on here! Thoughts? |

I had it. Met my ex on it.
You can set your facebook up so that it's not compromised.
You just have to go into privacy in Facebook and tweak things.
AKA you can use Tinder without anybody knowing you're on it and without anybody on Tinder knowing it.
I used Tinder when I got bored on here and wanted to date, met my ex on it.
Fab and Tinder are 2 completely different worlds. |

the only way I know not to be linked to everything through my FB account is to remove my phone number...
that seems to really piss them off as they keep sending messages asking me to add it again...they can eff off though  |

All Tinder needs access to is your pictures.
You can shut everything else off.
It's too long winded to type it out here, but if you Google it you should be able to find how to keep Tinder and Facebook separate.
Failing that..just open a Facebook account just for Tinder.  |

Most of them do, not ideal, I agree, but cuts down on fakes and makes the dev's job easier, as it's using an existing API, if there was an easy way to do your job available you'd utilise it. |

Women make me laugh.
They tell me they arnt keen on tinder as its too slow and they dont get many messages as you both have to swipe right on each others profile before you can chat etc.
Then they come on here and complain about the amount of messages they get.

Tinder is a TOTALLY different kettle of fish because you BOTH have to swipe right.
You can only contact those who've matched.
It's NOT one way traffic like it is for women on here.
I had more spontaneous social meets with women on there than I ever did on here, but that's all it is. Socials.
You'll get off with one or two and the occasional one might come back with you.
The downside is, I could never talk about what i talk about on here on Tinder as I'd get "unmatched" (the equivalent of blocked on here) on tinder straight away lol.
But thing is, they are looking to date on there.
90% of women on here are looking to date aswell, yeah it's true, whether they admit it or not. ... but from a pure spontaneous social meet-up perspective Tinder wins hands down. In my experience of it.
But you can't turn up to a social on there and talk about shagging for the next time, which is the general gisdt of socials on here.
On here, socials are with a view to fucking eachother at some near future date, on Tinder it's with a view to introducing this you to her friends and getting slightly involved with eachothers lives.

facebook didn't like any of the names I used tried to try and create a profile so gave up on it all. |

The difference is there is women on tinder you wouldn't Swipe right too and take them on a date etc but you would fuck them. They come up on here and get a higher caliber of men messaging them which they like. |

I didn't say Nigerians are scammers, I said I like to play with the ones that do scam, and there are loads of them who specifically target older women. It's easy to see which part of Africa they are from. |

The only info I get from Tinder profiles is what the bloke has chosen to show and how many miles away he is. You can also see if they have friends in common with you or friends of friends.
My mobile number is on my Facebook and I've never had any problem with having that available. |

If we were single and looking for some one-on-on NSA sex, Tinder would be more than adequate to meet my needs. But my husband and I are swingers, therefore we need a swingers website. Sadly this site is spoilt by men who thought joining Fab gave them access to a free shag.

They just think it is more hassle free and requires less groundwork. 1 night stands etc aren't easy and women can get attached quickly after you sleep with them so your not hurting anyone. I don't see the big deal using this site or clubs for easy sex and the couples etc are looking for it. Why does morals and ethics have to come into it? |

You're right it's not a big deal to try and use this site for easy sex as long as men respectfully only pursue those who are only looking for the same. Couples on this site tend to be looking for sex and friendship with other swingers, so with the majority of men just looking for an easy fix and not being interested in swinging it's unlikely to happen. Single men interested in playing with couples normally have to put in the same amount of groundwork as they would pursuing a single lady from Tinder. I think the main advantage of a swinging site versus a dating site is that people on a swinging site are more accepting of the concept of having multiple partners. |
