Probably because the one you sent last week, two months ago and last year were, but you constantly ignore the fact you were turned down, apologise and send another nice message next week.

Yeah we get the same single men reintroduce themselves every month as though we haven't previously said we weren't interested...

I don't know why they think we would have suddenly changed our minds?

Its probably not what its there for but if someone i message reads, views me and then deletes my message i tend to then block them to avoid remessaging them. They clearly dont want me so why waste everyones time

"Why dont you just block them?"

Because it doesn't bother me, it bothers them.

When he started he wasn't rude or abusive, then I got messages saying he had reported me, I blocked him.doesnt stop anyone reporting you. Like someone else said you get constant posts from men saying how bad women are because they don't reply.

Oh ok but I was referring to the men who post the 'it's rude to ignore messages' threads. I ignore many because they've already been turned down but forget they have.

They could block me, couldn't they.

I agree, same as the 'can single men stop spoiling it for the rest of us' threads

Is a thread complaining about not getting replies that different from the 'I wish men would stop sending these type of messages' ones....

I think a no every now and then is good for you. Can you imagine how hard it would be if every one you messaged said yes?!

Can people who aren't site supporters see message history? If not, it would explain at least some of the repeat messages.

If you message someone and they haven't replied you get a warning (or at least you use to). No excuse really unless they are numpties who are messaging everyone in their area.

No point in re messaging. Just a waste of time. However I do scratch my head when people don't reply after they've sent the first message or wink....

Ah, I see now. I guess some will just keep on messaging until they're blocked.

Rubery

I instead think that everyone should re-message those who don't reply and just delete the messages. Maybe it was by mistake! Repeatedly! Can't be sure until they say "no", now can you?
