So last weekend I arranged to meet a 'friend' at a spot known for dogging. It was a remote car park and I arrived early. It was about 9pm and pitch black. Within minutes a car edged towards the car park: I thought it was my partner in crime but it was a police car. It was pitch black so I didn't see it was a cop car until it was close. The cop car came on to the car park, pulled alongside and asked me to wind down the window. He didn't pull out his love truncheon instead he asked me if I owned my vehicle, where I was from, and my name. I said I was on my way to Manchester (which was true) and that I'd stopped to text a friend. The two cops were friendly and they then left. So my question is: what would you say to police in this situation? Technically I was doing nothing wrong but they clearly saw through my flustered replies as I was obviously embarrassed. (I soon left and met my friend elsewhere) |

I was once waiting at a dogging spot and the same thing happened to me. The police said to me "this area is used by people to have sex"
I looked at them both in turn, then said to the one nearest me. "Well don't let me stop you" |

Been questioned by them numerous times at various spots and I'm just honest and tell them I'm dogging. It usually takes a few seconds for them to process this as they're not used to people being so upfront and honest lol. Always polite and courteous and never had an issue |

You're not doing anything wrong.
Tell them the truth, they've heard it all before, they don't give a shit.
Or if it's a 'problem' area, they'll tell you to move on...And not give a shit!

Years ago just outside Londonderry I was on a patrol when we saw two cars in a remote car park. Interior lights on. We thought I looked a bit dodgy so sneaked up close then ran up to the cars. Torches strapped to our rifles flooding the cars.
Two couples dogging. One poor guy nearly wet himself. We apologized and left them to it.
They didn't stay long |

They might cite some public indecency stuff at you if you're doing anything, but only if they've had a number of complaints from the public, otherwise you're just more paperwork than its worth and they give you a stern word and tell you to bugger off.

We are honest with them and say we are dogging.
We never play in the main carparks anyway and only use it as a place to meet our next victims.
Always move to a quieter location when any fun is taking place |

We recently stopped for some car fun on a quiet lane pulled up at a field entrance behind a tree and in nobody's view , mid flow a car pulls up behind us at waited for a minute then 2 police officers came to our car they asked for my name and address and checked G was the wife and if she was ok then said we had found a nice spot and could carry on doing whatever we had been doing lol |

I've seen the police twice at dogging locations. First time there was boy racers in the car park as well. One car sped off which meant the police car shot off after it with the blues on.
The second time, there was a lady in a state of undress in the back of her estate car with the boot up and a few gentlemen stood around. We hadn't noticed a police car pull to the vehicle next to us. That vehicle and occupants got turned over for anti social driving. They didn't bat an eyelid at the group of men at the back of the estate car. |

If they ask usually I say just listening to the radio and having a rest. They can check out my car reg but nothing will come back but all ok.
If I am watching a couple or chatting with them usually they never stop but shine their spot light and move on (perving I guess) |

It does not go down well, some busted a club we were once in and wiggles shouted woot strippers. They were even less impressed when she offered to get searched. In her tiny see through dress lol.
The firemen and council guy were very happy though
