Would it be a good idea to have certain pubs that regular swingers go to in cities / large towns?

Thought it could help with social meets etc? What do people think?

Or... we could all leave it to the person who's organising the social to choose the venue and let everyone else choose whether to join in or not.

Howzat?

Holmes Chapel, Cheshire

A large number of councils don't allow swingers clubs in their areas, so clubs are clustered in areas where they are allowed. It might be useful to "adopt" a pub or two in those areas that are a long way from a club. Gay friendly pubs could be the obvious choices?

Exactly...plus a swinger club would, by definition, be full of swingers and guys just hoping to get lucky.

The idea of just having normal pubs, that friends of fab etc, are aware of as good for social meets, would allow for a more relaxed first meets.

Or maybe not...just thought I'd put it out there!

Forgive me for appearing a bit slow on the uptake but why should Gay friendly pubs be the obvious choice for a swinger venue?

We're talking about venues where people who happen to be swingers can go for no strings meetings then any PUBLIC house would be suitable.

I kinda see his point of view. There's a bar in rhyl that is very gay friendly as it's owned buy a couple and I feel more comfortable having a single social there.

"Pub" short for public house came into being for this very reason. So that people who could meet up with more friends than would fit into their own home.

We've had a few socials at local pubs and they've been very good...and on the extra plus side recruited a few vanillas on the way

Because it wouldnt be a swingers pub, exclusively.

Would be other people there too.

Hey...it's just an idea. Good or bad...im undecided.

Doubt you would get enough support to make a profit.

The Garden of Eden in Beautiful North Wales

I can see the intention of your idea but any pub can be a place to meet, you just say I'll meet you in the 'FaF Arms' at whatever time and logged on to Fab and or Bluetooth...

Brilliant idea. Bonobos might be better, though, given their love of casual sex.
