Hi all,
I apologise if this is against site rules but didn't really know what else to do.
Was in chams last night (24th June) and without going into details lost an earring in the middle of things. We know it was there as Kate felt it fall out but only remembered a few mins later after we'd left the room.
We've obviously checked with the club and also with the help of a few others thoroughly searched the dungeon room.
We can only hope someone has picked it up with the intention of handing it in but forgotten.
It's scrap value won't be worth anything close to what we're offering but there is a huge amount of emotional value.
We accept it's a long shot but if anyone does know anything and can return it, there us £100 cash no questions asked.
It's a twisted platinum hoop about 1.5cms in diameter.
Again apologies for this and may seem insignificant but as I'm sure we all have things that mean more to us thsn just their monetary value.
Please mail us if you have any info.
Thanks

Hope you find it guys. Also hope everyone realises never to wear anything that important to a swinging event. If the worst can happen it usually does. I had my fav dress stolen at a party once.

I'd like to think if it is found it would be returned without the offer of an incentive, FAB folks being what they are.
Is it just FAB peeps that attend the club though? has an ad been placed in the club?
I do hope you get it back, sentimental value can never have a price placed on it. xxx |

P.S I once left a platinum & solitaire diamond ring, a white gold & diamond eternity ring and a yellow/white gold & diamond dress ring in a pot pourri bowl in a room in After Eight Club Edinburgh... I had removed them so as not to snag a lovely lady I was playing with.
Collectively these three rings are worth quite a lot of money but even more in sentimental value.
I am happy to say that the very next day I was assured that my rings had been found, handed in to the staff and were on their way to me, being delivered by a close personal friend and club member.
THANK YOU After Eight Club and members. xxxx
I do hope your earring is found and returned in such a splendid way.

Thanks for all the comments.
We did speak to the club before we left and they were going to have a look for it too and also made a note incase someone handed it in.
I'm goign to try and phone them agian today and then call it quits.
Like others have said - always an idea not to take your best stuff in, but some things you just wear all the time, and like we said - not hugely valuable but emotionally a bit of a kick.
Never mind,
thanks again for all the comments.

"Have you contacted the club to see if anyone has handed it in or if the cleaners have found it."
may sound silly, but also may be worth asking them to check the hoover bag, could have been vacuumed up..... |
