Anyone walked out of a meeting after 5 minutes?
Jump to: Newest in thread
We met a female for a social . We were in a Hotel bar for about 5 minutes with people on adjacent tables who could hear our conversation. We therefore asked her to keep her voice down when she asked us at normal volume how long we had been swinging to which she replied really loud so everyone could hear ' I couldn't care less if everyone knows we are swingers'
We just walked out at that point .
Can anyone beat 5 minutes? |

Can't beat 5 minutes but when me and my wife were on holiday in Portugal we overheard a couple talking about swinging I think it was less than 5 minutes before we introduced ourselves let's say it was a memorable holiday |

That is awful OP. Totally disrespectful, you did right to walk.
I fail to understand some people's mentality, but then again I fail to in all walks of life I suppose, not just Fab. |

Reading this thread with interest.
It's almost like a public service message for fab members.
To all the posters who left those meets quickly I'd have done exactly the same thing. |

Last year I met a couple at their's. It took me about 10 seconds to be alarmed by the smell of their house. Another 20 seconds to make my excuses and politely leave.
Anyone who knows me will know that I'm hardly the fussiest person in the world but... |

Really do not like socials either, save a few, they have all had their embarrassments. I'm pretty reserved publicly but when women start spreading their legs in bars, start talking about clit piercings and squirting (at loud volumes), asking how long you've been on xyz site, why or how long you've been meeting people when people can obviously over hear, it does make you wonder where the conversation is supposed to go - flat out honest and shock them or bent the truth. It's completely different at someones house, you can make your excuses or be upfront but to walk into a bar and the barman say "they are in the corner," it makes you wonder who you are meeting. I haven't walked on a social though one or two I should have. |

My worst experience was I met a stunning lady who dressed amazing and smelt good. We got on so well she invited me back to hers. Then walking through the front door my dreams where shattered. Basically I was amazing we got through the door not because our hands were all over each other but the house was so full of junk it was obviously she hordes and the smell was so revolting I nearly threw up.
I had to make a tale excuse to leave and thanked her for meeting and left so quickly to fresh air.
Just goes to the saying can't judge a book by its cover. |

Turned up at a house for a meet and when the door was opened the lassie in question looked nothing like the one on her profile. The carpet shined. There was also a really bad smell coming out of the house. I said go get the bed warm I'll be straight in I'm just going to get my condoms I've left them in the car. Hence to say I never went back. She may well still be keeping the bed warm. Lol. |

"This has happened to us too, on more than one occasion, very embarrassing. This is why we don't meet in pubs or bars now."
Do you mean you would only meet if it was straight to someones house or your own house? We know a couple of large eating type chain pubs which are usually quite empty midweek so try to meet in those and head for the furthest corner away from other people but it's hard to find a spot like that at weekends ! |
