Everyone starts somewhere on this place with no verifications ! However that being said I would want to see at least a pic on here or kik/Skype also cam chat is good so all parties see each other although I understand that's not for everyone at the very least a phone chat ! Just take the chance if it's local but don't get your hopes up ! |

Id be suspicious,no reason people cant upload a face pic and keep it private .
It may be a man looking for kicks,seems to happen alot .

As a single lad on this site it can be very difficult to get your first meet. You'll come across plenty of time wasters and men pretending to be women but if you don't take the odd chance, you'll likely never get anywhere.

I'd recommend meeting in public first so you can make a quick getaway. I'd be suspicious in your position. |

Verifications mean nothing when some people have 3 or 4 accounts, I've also had people ask me to verify them in return for a favourable veri so I presume this happens to other too. |

They don't mean nothing. I agree they can be faked by a circular group of fake profiles, that doesn't mean they are useless in general.
OP from your description, I would say there is a 99% chance they are fake, and just a 1% chance they are going to bury you under the patio. |

If a female relative said she was going to the house of a couple she had only had contact with via the internet who were reluctant to show her what they looked like, what would your advice be? Follow the same advice yourself. |

Verifications have there place but I'd say a grand porportion are overblown fluff, has anyone evet given down one a poor one ? Had anyone ever shown a poor one ? People give good ones to get good ones in return. I know I'm an awful shag but my veris would tell you otherwise  |

I agree the content will generally be good. I'm talking about their value to determine if people are 'real' and actually meet and turn up to meets Vs Fake, keyboard dreamer etc. |

Yes verifications are hit and miss for sure. A very well verified guy cried off recently at the last minute because he learnt Sir would be at the meeting (there was never a question that he wasn't going to be!).
I don't think it's unreasonable prior to meeting to ask for face pics and a phone number to talk in advance. |

We wouldn't meet someone who refused to share a face pic first, partly because we don't have lots of time for socials without even an inkling of whether we might find them attractive but mostly because someone who won't show a little good faith when we are fully prepared to share face pics would make me wary.
If they won't chat on the phone /Skype /cam with you either I'd be very cautious. If you decide to go ahead would suggest meeting somewhere public for a social first, where it won't be a complete loss if they are a fake. |

Or maybe has a public job such as a teacher or nurse.
If your profile has naughty pics then maybe you don't want to show your face pic as if someone knows you that's not so good. Obviously if your agreeing to meet it's a different story.
I very rarely send my face pic now but I respect that for some that's unacceptable. |

We like to see face pics also sometimes we get asked to talk on fone as alot think ur just male part off couple and sometimes it is would u be OK meeting them without face pic that's what got to ask yourself you just never know they might be really nice couple |
