Not one to demand/request stuff from admin but I thought I'd run this past you fuckers (true innit) to see your thoughts.
You see a profile that looks good. You like a few pictures. You construct a thoughtful message, press send and oops, your are not allowed for some reason which u cannot see on the profile.
If some filters rule you out, then I think you should not even be allowed to "like" pictures in the first place.
Is my idea on or flawed? |

Did the profile concerned have their preferred age range on show? Maybe you didn't notice when reading the profile that perhaps you didn't match their criteria?
I have filters on my profile and basically its to save the time of those who might not notice my preferences and go ahead and message anyway, it also saves my time explaining the same to them! |

Can't say I've encountered that problem. As someone else has said, if you're outside their requirements, then it flashes up "you cannot message this person" with stated "reason".
It might be a website design flaw, but rather than waste your own time, just find someone you can message.
Web admin, probably know about it;
the forum has probably heard it before;
& this thread will finish & you'll be none the wiser
