I prefer nice boy shorts on women.

Plain ones in jeans and nice lacy type ones when dressed up.

Traditional boxers not good, too much undercarriage to leave it hanging, boxer trunks hold in place, also much needed when doing flying, spinning side kicks in Tae Kwon Do
