I think it's probably because women (due to being in the minority) don't need to pretend to be half of a couples profile with permission from the other person to avoid filters.
It makes people wary.
Also women playing alone tend to just get on with it. The ones that don't usually come in for the same treatment the guys get. |

What aggravates me in this situation is when I get a male half from a couple messaging me for solo fun.
I have single men blocked from messaging for a reason and using a couples profile gets around that filter.
I will also balance things up by mentioning that there are also a lot of single women profiles who state there is a boyfriend/husband in tow, often with the proviso that they have to be at all meets and "join in, if it's ok". |

Make it clear on your profile that you're both able to play separately and it can be verified by the other half if necessary. Most people go to profiles before answering messages so that might mitigate some of the aggrevated responses. |

"Can understand that but what I mean is couples can ask to met males but when a male of a couples replays to play they get all on their high horse xx"
It's not getting on your high horse to feel that you've been misled. If a couples profile contacts us we expect to be asked to meet a couple. |
