I'm often online late at night. Currently I am often logged in here late at night.
I get quite a few "can you meet now, I'm local" messages after midnight. Always from strangers, (and always single guys or the male half of a couple, or alleged couple).
Would anyone actually go out to meet a stranger at 1am, or 3am? Or invite a stranger round at that sort of time? Has anyone?
Have you ever asked a stranger to meet you spontaneously in the early hours? Did you actually think they might? Did they?
Perhaps I am the odd one thinking that it's an overly hopeful thing to ask? |

Well I did have a woman actually ask if she could come to my house and have sex with me nd another invited me round to hers in the early hours in the morning. But yes it is unusual |

I have never asked anyone but I did meet a couple one time at 3 am. I met them in the chat room. They were looking for local male to join them. |

i know it's a different 'market' but that sort of thing is very common on the gay scene.
more online meets like that than via any other medium really.

No i don't and I wouldn't, prefer to get to know someone and make sure they are safe and trustworthy, also I cannot accommodate, and I wouldn't drive to their location either |

Overly hopeful is a polite way of putting it 
We do do pretty quick meets...next day sort of thing,but no way would we let a stranger into our house in the middle of the night.
i do wonder quite why men think proximity is so attractive.In the chat room i often get.."Oh i am just down the road from you "as if that is all that is needed to get me wet and wanting!  |

Overly hopeful is a polite way of putting it
We do do pretty quick meets...next day sort of thing,but no way would we let a stranger into our house in the middle of the night.

Id dont agree thats its more common on the gay scene, i and a lot of people i know, gay, straight and bi wouldnt consider going out at 1am for a quick fumble, plus i dont think there is a gay scene anymore, swinging, dogging, cottaging.....its just a scene |

It'd be an instant block if someone asked for an instant meet. I live with two of my daughter's. I most certainly would not be inviting a strange man with a hard on into my home!

all i can say is get a profile on gaydar, squirt, cottaging or similar and you get inundated with late night, last minute requests (well, i did in any case)
other than on here, i have never had a pre-arranged meet. all the meets i have had have been last minute (irregardless of time of day).
so there is definately a trend, certainly in manchester for that kind of activity
in fact, even on here - the first 3 meet requests i had were late at night last minute off 'straight' guys who obviously had a late urge to empty their balls before they settled down for the night. |

i have had a request for a meet from a bloke who's kids were upstairs in bed - so we'd 'have to be quiet'
i also had a request for a meet from a bloke who wanted me to go round while his wife was at work and his teenage 'disabled' daughter was upstairs - 'it's ok, she has mobility issues so can't get downstairs on her own'
i obviously declined both kind offers |

I've spontaneously met a stranger (and an unverified one) in the early hours - great fun and I've been back. Have also met someone in the early hours that I'd chatted to before but had never met - we both happened to be in chatrooms at the same time and horny. Have had no problems with any such meets, thankfully - and I've gone to them, as we never accom here |

This sort of request infuriates me, not least because my profile says very clearly I don't do short-notice meets.
Some idiot messaged me at 8am on Monday morning asking if I wanted to join him then and there in his hotel room, before he checked out. Some of us have work on Monday mornings...
I block people who ask to meet instantly, as I do anyone who hasn't bothered to read my profile properly (such as under-35s who acknowledge I'm not looking to meet anyone younger than 38 or so but expect me to make an exception for them). |

It must work for some but I'd never meet anyone I have never had any contact with, saying that I was set up once by someone I'd been exchanging messages and calls with for a long time so be careful |

not done it myself had a couple of offers, latest one was a couple at about 11.30 they lived 45 mins away and I had to get up at work at 6am so declined politely as logistically just wouldnt work...in reply i got told i am a single male and didnt have the right to turn down a meet and must therefore be a timewaster! gotta love the site sometimes!  |

i was asked to pop round to somebodys house and pose as a workman/plumber etc for a bit of a fantasy role play, it was fun but did feel like a gigalo as it was short notice and there was not a lot of connection and chat before hand etc..
would i do it gain ?? Probably lol |
