Hi everyone
We are having our first party at the weekend.
Apart from the guest list, could anyone give us tips/advice on how to make it a successful night.

We've never organised a party like this, but have attended plenty. No surprise, the best ones worked mainly because they had a great mix of guests and warm, friendly hosts. Other things that helped included good music, a place to dance (even a small one) and some thought given to lighting.
