Not been to a club so can't reply to that side. Have had two rude messages that have mentioned size.

One was an initial message, the other was after i declined a meet.

My height and my size will put some off, i realise that, but some men like it.

I avoid those who fetishize it.

My Kitten would probably be considered SSBBW and she gets nothing but positive attention in clubs and at parties. She is very popular.

Our friend Marina, most definitely SSBBW also gets sone extremely good attention. She has some favourites and has an excellent time, usually at Route69. She is maz81 on here.

In my experience, the largest of ladies get some of the best attention at clubs.

Only rudeness I've experienced is from other women in clubs about my size. Any rude messages I've had off men on here were on my single profile and they never mentioned anything about my size.

Ive never had a rude message. Only that they like my figure. No idea bloody why. I think pics can be deciveing. Ive had a few meets. I dont like to meet single guys (i would) but i think they would see me and run a mile. I just don't believe what they say. Ive had a bad experience in a vanilla club which is what plays on my mind. But im learning to toughen up i guess.

Obviously not a bbw or ssbbw - but it still makes me sad and cross that anyone should contact someone on here purely to insult them - and I hope admin deal with them very firmly!

All I'd say is that, for those of you who may have confidence issues, many clubs run bbw events fairly regularly and they seem to be very well attended!

Also - as I think I suggested on one of Curvy Mama's threads - why not arrange BBW/appreciaters socials too? If anyone feels insecure about their size or others perception of it - then 'safety in numbers' should be a good thing!

There's obviously a great level of interest for BBW's on fab itself, hence the number of threads on the topic, but I understand that if you feel a little insecure or vulnerable in yourself then it will take a LOT of reassurance from others to change that! To an extent I felt the same about my age when I joined fab (convinced I was 'past it!')

I've not had rude messages and I'm big and tall! But I also tend to think that the really hot guys that message me are looking for me as a tick of their who I've fucked list, e.g. Older, younger, fat and so on. So I tend not to reply to them.

I've been to clubs, although with my ex bf and never had a problem.

I've had some very successful meets off of here and never had a bad word said, admittedly a couple of people I've never heard from again so I'm not sure if that's due to be being too wobbly, crap in bed (I just don't belive that! Haha) or my wit and charm isn't as witty and charming as I think. But I don't take it to heart unless they have fed me lines, so now I take it all with a huge pinch of salt until it's proved otherwise.

The thing is, a lot of men on here say they love the fuller figure curvy lady etc, yet the vast majority of women here who say they are curvy, fuller figured etc are just big boobed with hips, or big bottomed etc.

You rarely see big bellies and rolls of flesh (which i take as being a BBW/SSBBW), so you're not sure if they truly like big women or just women with curves.

Ive never had bad comments at clubs, but as with a lot of women on here the only time I get negative comments is when I say no thanks, one went as far as to say I should be grateful as not only was I fat I was ginger

I've got brave and my profile pic shows the rolls on my tummy, I also have more pics for friends to see. I'm quite honest about not being curvy but big bum, wobbly tummy and no thigh gap unless I'm laid with my legs akimbo!

I believe I'm class as a ssbbw at a UK size 24 and myself been as large as a size 36

Think each club experience is different and try not to dwell on the negative events

i find when on rare occasion ive gone to any events minus my partner .. ive been ignored a lot. Seems single ladies arent quite as sort after as it seems..

Ive been called alsorts but rarely abused in clubs. Had a sly comment from the odd woman here and there x

I agree completely. Whilst I am not SSBW (super size BBW?), I am a size 16 and I have heard a woman (I use that word very loosely) in a club berating anyone above size 16 as being obese. Admittedly, she has a slim, boyish figure but that does not give her the right to comment at all on other women's size. Beauty is very much subjective. I think an ugly, critical personality is much worse than being overweight. At the end of the day, larger ladies are still beautiful but an ugly personality is permanent.

All ladies should be proud of who they are and how they look and those people who think it is not right or attractive to be larger need to take a good, long look in the mirror!!

We've only ever had one abusive message. I was told I'd just be a sympathy shag anyway (after telling him twice we weren't interested).

I'm not happy with the weight I've put on, and I do have the big belly and its all you see as I don't have the boobs to distract away from it, so yeah sometimes I do feel like I would be a sympathy shag, but thats down to my issues.

That said though, I'm thick skinned so didn't let it bother me.

I can lose weight, he's the one with the real problem

In my early days on fab I did have one guy who turned up for a social and said I didn't realise how big you are.

I don't carry a lot of weight on my face so the face pic is deceiving.

I changed my profile to spell it out and put a massive arse pic on there.

I also never fuck on the first date so they get to see me in the flesh on a social and know what they are getting

Not having a bad day, just trying to get a point over that there are very shallow people on here and at clubs. The bbw thread you refer to is confined to a few people, anyone else posting on it IS ignored - I've noticed others posting on there and no response. I find that rude. If people want to just talk to each other then there is private messaging. The forums are for everyone

I've had the odd bit of abuse but mainly from people I've turned down and never to my face as yet!

I class myself as a BBW and make sure I've got some pics up that show my belly etc. That way no one can say they didn't realise what I looked liked.

I used to be a lot more embarrassed by my size until I kept getting worshipped by genuine bbw lovers. Now I embrace myself and enjoy my body for the pleasure it gives me and others.

If in general then i'd say a BBW would have quite a belly on themawith obvious fat rolls and a SSBBW would have a very large belly that hangs a bit and multiple fat rolls.

Okay I was at that event. Did I get loads of guys coming up to speak to me? No. But I did not make the effort and make eye contact or say hi myself.

Don't take it personally. I can imagine it would be difficult for a guy. No one likes being rejected so they might wait for signals that you are interested first.

I agree with this, I have reverently lost a fair bit of weight I've gone from a size 24 to a size 12, when i was a size 24 i had little confidance and hardly got any attention at club's but then I never made an effort to talk to people due to my lack of confidence, since dropping 6 dress sizes I feel much better about myself and I make more of an effort to speak to guys I like and the result is I get far more men paying me attention

Is this because I'm slimmer now or because I'm now showing men I like them?

When I was bigger I have to say any negative comments I had in club's always came from women rather than guys

I honestly don't think anyone on the BBW chat threads is deliberately ignored. Sometimes comments are missed but that happens on ALL threads. I think if anyone posts in a thread and expects to be fawned over straight away then they will think others are rude if their post isn't commented on straight away. It's a case of give and take.

Unfortunately that is not the way of the world. Having been thoroughly depressed by a "natural breasts v augmented breasts thread" it is clear that people on Fab like categories. I suppose from the woman's point of view having categories should prevent any misunderstanding as to physical requirements at any meeting (subject to the- do people read profiles issue?).

It is very clear that people have strong preferences on Fab and are ready to get aggressive in defence of their preferences. Therefore any description which aids people to find what they want is to be welcomed, provided that the label is seen as descriptive and has no negative aspects.

I've never understood why size gets the abuse. I have a bbw friend on here and she gets so much abuse when she says no and even when she chooses to ignore the people she is not interested in. She is one of the most beautiful people I've ever met, but here size makes her an easy target for those that can't handle reduction. Having popped my head back in to the thread last night and the odd nosey moments, there are a few people on there who in reality could message in private, so I could see why the op would be put off and feel like they have been ignored. for some people, posting on forums is a big step and trying to join in with people who obviously have a connection and their own private jokes etc is off putting, even for hardened forum posters.

Yes was nice to see you pop back and I agree something's are best kept private I can get quite flirty on there but when I think it could be becoming too much I usually switch to Kik or Pm for that, as I like to think it makes people feel a bit more welcome on there and that way and a bit less "cliquey" as I'm sure it could easily be viewed that way otherwise

That's what I do on any thread with more than a few back and forth messages between myself and others. Perhaps others could follow that lead, because as you say, it does come across as very cliquey. Always hard to jump in on a conversation like that.

I've tried a fair few times to join in the conversations but been ignored. Since I posted on there about it people have now responded. It is very hard breaking into an established thread.

The two lovely ladies I spoke to at Chams - it was a pleasure chatting with you. I overcame my fear of approaching a guy first that day and chatted to and flirted etc etc with several but none were interested, didn't even want to chat so I eventually gave up. I'm a very sociable person as those that know me will confirm. I have no trouble at all at clubs local to me, in fact they are a lot more friendly It's a shame as the staff at Chams are great.

I'm an SSBBW, and I've only had one negative message and it didn't mention my size at all, only my disability! I'm an above knee amputee. Besides that one message, my experience of the site is very good and I get a fair bit of attention on a daily basis. I've never been to a club, as it doesn't appeal to me.

Ive had some awful messages on here over the years and I've gotten abuse on coffee meets saying I'm fatter than my pictures and guys walking away from me umm doh hello in my pics i wear corsets they hold a hell of a lot of me in like they are supposed to!!
