My office chair

By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

My boss told me today that at the weekend, one of his customers sat in my leather office chair and fingered herself while he watched, then she gave him a blowjob.

I was instantly turned on by this thought.

Now it's all I want to do, obviously not with my boss though.

I could add to this

getting him to sit on your leather chair before you sit on top and straddle him

bouncing up and down upon his lap

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

I'd expect to be sacked if I said that to a co-worker.

I've "contaminated " her working environment, had inappropriate activity with a customer, brought the company into disrepute, and probably sexually harrassed her as there's a clear implication that I would like to repeat the activity with my co-worker (why else did we use her chair?).

In the 30 years since OP has been working for this company, corporate HR departments have begun to frown on this kind of behaviour.

Hence we no longer pinch secretaries' bottoms, or have Pirelli calendars on the wall.

Firstly I don't work for a company, I work for a small firm with a total number of 4 employees.

Secondly, I haven't worked there 30 years.

Thirdly, we don't have a HR department

Fourthly, my boss is a friend and I think the relationship we have where we can talk is much better than a 'stand off-ish having to watch what I say' type of relationship.

It's a forum. People post how they want not to spoil your fun thread. Lots of people don't have the rather old relationship you do with your boss with theirs. Apologies for not finding it as sexy as you...

If people interpreting your post and commenting how they want is something that upsets you, adding something like 'only fun comments please/no negative remarks' would reduce that.

Not irrelevant - they explain why people react the way they do to your post. No conclusions were jumped to - it's a fact that many workplaces would take a dim view on it.

"I'd expect to be sacked if I said that to a co-worker.

I had a case where a female, in a male environment found Pirelli calenders offensive and traumatic.

I commented early on this thread as I thought it more fantasy than reality though that aside. I can see how a friendship would allow open conversation but you seem accepting that this relationship should allow explicit references especially from your boss. You have cut short people on here for 'bad language' as they cause you offence but not this when it is an act against you where you work?

I do have a question - what would you do if your friendly boss took it a step further and physically invaded your space or asked you for sex, job dependent. Would you still brush it off as office banter and put it down to experience?

You have done on other threads. I am not about to trawl through your posts to find a quote to post here though you have shown a dislike for ill language against you, so seems strange you'd accept it as fun in the workplace. I would really be interested in knowing what you'd do as you avoided answering, and surprisingly nobody has asked the question. What would you do if he asked you what he asked the customer or came on to you.

Surely this thread is getting out of hand.

Is it no longer ok to be close friends with people you work with?

Be they your boss or a colleague?

The OP has never suggested that this sort of conversation should be ok between a boss and staff throughout all work places or that sexual harrassment is acceptable has she?

She has simply mentioned a conversation of a sexual nature between a colleague (who happens to be her boss) that she is close friends with.

Would people be complaining if the OP was a man talking about his male boss telling he shagged someone in his office?

Ok this thread has gotten ridiculous now. I don't get why people don't agree with this. But at the end of the day, all people involved in this were consenting adults.

When you think about it, all that really happened was, someone had sex, someone spoke about sex. Being her boss is irrelevant if they're good friends.

I'm friends with my boss and we talk about sex, or is that ok since were both lads?

Even if we're on a swingers site it doesn't change the fact this is a forum - a place for discussion and exchanging ideas - as stated previously if it was desired that there was only posts in agreement, it should have been mentioned in the OP. Maybe we should delete the delete any thread not discussing swinging as it's that site.

People have spoken about it from their experience and what would happen if their boss acted in such a way - not criticised the OP or resorted to name calling.

I would find it intimidating and threatening, and I would no longer wish to work in that environment. It's sexual harassment and it's not appropriate in the workplace. I go to work to work, not to be hit on by colleagues or to have to put up with someone telling me stories like that.

At a larger company I would talk to HR. At a smaller company (I too have worked for small companies with just 4 people) would start looking for a new job. Immediately. On their time.

Hopefully this is an extension of your friendship, and the conversation was just as likely to happen in your home as anywhere else. Hopefully your boss is aware that they should not say similar things to other people who they have not known for 30 years.

"I would find it intimidating and threatening, and I would no longer wish to work in that environment.

You think it's appropriate for bosses to have sexual encounters with clients in the workplace and then tell their employee about it?

In a general situation? No.

But she's made it clear numerous times in this thread that she is long time friends with her boss (over 30 years I think she said).

So the real question is, do I think it's appropriate for friends to have sexual encounters with clients in the workplace and then tell their friends about it?

Yes I do, and the location of WHERE this was said has absolutely nothing to do with anything. Two friends spoke about sex in private, that is all there is too is

Which is why I split my post into two parts, explained how *I* would feel, and then suggested that I hoped her boss understood that they shouldn't behave that way with people who aren't old friends.

I bet I know how the OP negotiates a pay rise! Must be nice working in such a friendly environment. Or if you want extra holiday -there are ways and means. Maybe ask your super friendly on the level boss to get you a cushion pad though, unless the carpet is soft

Excuse me

A pay rise would be based purely upon my professional capabilities and standard of work.

I suspect, since your boss is ok with the kind of behaviour you mention in your first post, that your boss doesn't give much of a fuck about professionalism and is therefore likely to give you a pay rise for all kinds of reasons.

^ exactly! This whole thing I am sorry if this offends seems like fantasist nonsense, great for erotic fiction, or just plain attention grabbing, at the end of the day small or big an company that employs 4 people the boss should not be accepting blowjobs off customers. My local corner shop has about 4 staff shall I go in there and off him one?

What? This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard, they'll boss's around the world having all sorts of sexual encounters with people they meet at work. Whether it be the boss of an enterprise, or a self employed tradesmen.

I would even bet there are a few self employed trades men on here that have had a blowjob from a customer

It really doesn't seem extraordinary to hope that individuals will be professional when dealing with others in the course of their business.

However I suspect that yours is the same mindset that one of my old boss' used to have - who suggested to me that I should wear a short skirt and high heels in order to gain more business from customers I visited. I simply replied that if we couldn't get business if I was dressed in flats and trousers (to walk around warehouses...) then we proberbly need to look at how we are doing business.

To those people who have been against this thread, are you really all telling me that you have never heard of sexual encounters happening in the work place? Bosses and their secretaries? Work colleagues having affairs? Your telling me in the large companies where hundreds of people work, that nothing ever happens?

Because I for one, know that it does go on, both from my own experience of working in larger firms and from other people who work within large organisations.

So those of you who don't believe this goes on, you must be very naïve or you go around with your eyes closed.

I'm not against the thread. I just don't agree it's horny. I think it's insulting. Yes I've certainly heard about naughty encounters in the workplace, but that's not the emphasis of your original post. I'm speaking only for myself now, but I don't think it's acceptable or professional. You do. Others do. It's ok, we just have a difference of opinion, we don't have to try to change each other's stance.

Yeah - and I don't think it's professional for them to be having sex at work either (with clients or colleagues), or wanking at work, or bragging to colleagues about any of those things happening.

He wasn't bragging. He was telling me, as frirnds do tell each other things. I leeinally found it very horny, hence my post.

But this is the forums, and people are allowed to disagree.

I know my boss is vey professional in his work. He has an excellent reputation in his business, with both staff and customers alike.

I know he did nothing out of order, and did nothing that doesn't happen in a lot of other work places.
