...when it comes to people posting messages in the forums which can be quite off putting for people and may even deter people from posting which is a shame as they are a good source of info and can be fun to read.
Everyone has different _iews, different angles to a subject which is good but we don't need to be dismissive, get on our high horses or just be plain offensive if we don't agree with something we have seen or have read similar posts in the forums before.
I am waiting for my back lash now but have wanted to say something for a while as I think we should be encouraging people to post on here instead of seeing the same people over and over again.
No offence to anyone, rant over!!

At times... But mostly pleasant, informative and at times very funny.
That's how I find it.
The rest of the time moaners who can't empty their scrotum into anything but a Kleenex....

Actually one of the best examples of the posts you mention is the one you opened 3 weeks ago... Am I a time waster...
The guy in question was crucified for having a different approach to swinging than you...
Not right, nor wrong...
The better time to mention being too harsh was possibly then... As we had one side of the story, yours not his...

Referring back to my post "Am I a timewaster?" I think you will find that I was not in the slightest bit offensive about the person in question, I was merely asking other peoples opinions as I had not experienced this before so I am not sure what you are suggesting there??
All I am saying is we shouldn't attack people in the forums if we don't like what is being said!!!  |

I didn't for one second suggest that you had been offensive to anyone.. but you mentioned that you have been thinking about people being harsh for a while.. I hope you will agree that the post I mentioned is not a great example of the forum being inclusive, fair and objective.
We had one side, yours ( not suggesting your side was anything less than fact ) then the other party was crucified.. A moderator had to warn people for being offensive to another member..
Your qustion was.. is it harsh? I answered by saying 'yes, at times...' and that was one time, one thread, I thought it was.

I would like to believe my assertiveness does not come across as aggressiveness in my posts.
If it does, I shall make no apologies for it, as that's the way I am and am not going to change the habit of a lifetime, take it or leave it.  |

It's not here, its the nature of forums...they are open to all.
Quite frankly i think most ppl in here are remarkably tolerant and helpful.Some OP's though seem to think you can only post if you agree with them.i would suggest they get a dog, idea for slavish obedience.

Its the guys who start a thread about should they be honest and state that they are married and when you give an honest opinion they jump down your throat for being judgemental. |

Not read the thread. But Ihave jhad messages slating me and being abusive. But I've had far more saying they like my posts. If someone posts an emotive subject you have to expect emotive replies. I don;t think I'm rude, I can be to the point. I don;t care if that offends... |

We find most people in here to be nice...yeh ok, its annoying when someone totally ignores something you have posted and agrees with one of their 'gang', who has just posted the same thing!...but in general the vast majority here seem great and polite. |
