When a meet is in the diary, what are considered acceptable reasons for cancellation and how much notice do people consider reasonable? Or do Fab meets not really count, and can be cancelled if something comes up or there is a better offer? Or should Fab friends receive the same level of reliability as vanilla friends? Our view is the latter and that it would be extreme circumstances e.g. illness for us to cancel, especially at short notice. What do others think? (Not asking for advise, just discussion).

I would say that yes, people I meet from here deserve the same consideration as real life friends.
I've cancelled due to being ill, having a coldsore, and car issues. I didn't like doing it but sometimes things just happen. |

I take meets here as genuinely as I do friends in the outside world....family crises have come up, but otherwise, I'd never cancel an agreed meet.

I don't like cancelling but things happen, had to call a meet off at last minute due to a family emergency. You just can't plan for everything. I always apologise though as manners cost nothing and I'd like to think they would be the same in return x |

I've had to cancel for various reasons. ...the same reasons that would make me cancel non fab related commitments. Sometimes last minute. Things happen. |

I always inform if I am running late (it does take at least 2 hrs to get ready) and ask the guy to wait in th hotel bar until i am ready to host.
I have experienced guys cancelling 30 minutes after they should have arrived. That is a little annoying and so I simply block them, block their future attempts at communication etc.
