was invited to a party tonight had to decline due to mother nature damn, was asked if i had ever heard of sponging i hadnt so it was explained to me what it was.
would any of you do this? |

there is a cap or something that can be used if you want to be enviromentally friendly (all spelt wrong but hey hoo)insert wait take out wash insert saves money and the land ,still wouldnt use it for sex tho but seeing as how i never get painters in now there is no need anyway |

Hi just to say I have used this method before, it works! But I have to say I tend to only do it if I'm really gagging for it, and it's towards the end of my period. I never re use the sponge.. Lol it's worked for me! Each to there own thou xx |

Im going to be blonde now how does it work do you keep the sponge up there while having sex or remove it as there will still be blood and would be afraid of having the sponge getting stuck only on 3 or 4 days out of the month surely can wait till finished. |

If anyone is going to try this method please ensure you soak the sponge in boiling water first then let cool down. Sponges for babies are the safest to use J x  |

I have used these but I stress only with Mr....would never consider using them with others.
They are called 'soft tampons' and can used for swimming, sports and sex.
Not sure why they are called tampons as they are a small sponge that is inserted up to close off the cervix making sex hygienic.
I buy them from the internet and yes they work!

Messing around with ibuprofen just to delay a period sounds a bit desperate and dangerous to be honest. I hope no lady follows this advice |

You leave it in whilst having sex, it helps to form a barrier. Remove after sex. x |

You will still bleed but not as heavily as it's seals the cervix.....yes they are left in (can be for up to 8 hours)

yes I have herd of it but not for sex but for a cheap and natural means to having a period. I have never used it but I do use a mooncup with is a silicone cup which is inserted and empties every few hrs, it saves me a bomb but either way I would not like to play whilst this is in there.
but soft play would be very safe whilst using the cup as it is very good to stop any blood flow.

I have only used them occasionally with Mr and he says he can't feel it....
Not something I would personally use when swinging....
