Anyone find scars a problem or turn on?? My partner has heavy scars from a number of operations! She is paranoid to play with other women as worries about the reaction. I tell her they are sexy and she should wear them with pride, it's a tough nut to crack so just seeing if I'm giving her good advice? |

Scars are just a part of who she is. I have a big one across my chest down to underneath my ribs and I had a large blue coal mining one on my back but covered it with a tattoo so if they repulse anyone they should be ashamed of themselves |

Totally agree, it's exactly what I tell her |

Wanna know how I got these scars?
My father was a drinker, and a fiend!
In all honestly I can understand her worry. But scars are part of who you are. I've only got one or two small ones. But I find it quite interesting to hear about people with scars.

Scars are part of life, I don't think anyone would have an issue with them. I have them all over my stomach from various operations and now, they're just a part of me!

I, Poppy, have a rather large scar on my arm, had it since I was 12, so guess I'm used to it and it's a part of me now. I often just turn it into a talking point. Certainly wouldn't let scars put me off playing with someone.

All my scars tell a story and they're part of who I am.
I'm not particularly body confident, but what others may think of them doesn't phase me.
Tell her to wear them with pride any if people do judge her, they're the ones with the problem and not people you want to be around

Again I agree, I find them sexy and a reminder of her courage, and definitely interesting to hear the stories all scars come from. |

I don't find scars a turn on but they are definitely not a turn off. They are just there, a part of you.
I have some heavy scarring in places due to a rare skin condition and i can be a bit self conscious about it.
The people I've met off fab and in clubs are too polite to say anything or it really doesn't matter. Either way i am becoming less bothered by them myself. |

I have a condition called hidradenitis suppurativa, and I have several operations each year. It's nothing major, but it has left me looking like I shave with a lawnmower. I mention it on my profile as some people are squeamish, and it can be an issue for them.
I am completely body confident though, it's not like I got these for being a bad person, or from having bad hygiene, I got them because I've been a tad unlucky with my health. They are my war wounds, they tell a story of how strong I am each day, they are a beautiful part of me, even when they are angry and red and not particularly attractive, because on the whole I believe I am a beautiful person and those who see that in me are the people I want to surround myself with.
I hope your friend realises that worrying about her scars really is just crazy, if someone is squeamish, it doesn't make them a bad person, just means they aren't right to play with her, but it certainly isn't something to worry about. |

I have a 4/5 inch facial scar from a few years back, it doesn't really bother me except when it's cold then it aches like a bitch...
I don't really think it's put anybody off from meeting me, the rest of my face does that!!! |
