Whats should you put in an opening message?

When I message someone I introduce myself in a polite manner, tell a little about me in a non sexual way and ask then if they'd like to chat.

I very rarely get a reply. Now I'm no ripped stud but I don't think I'm totally repulsive.

What tips would you give someone? Do I need to be more sexual in a message?

I think it really depends on who you're messaging. I usually look for people who mention common interests in their profile and start from there, weather they're sexual or not. Being a single guy, my response rates are not through the roof either, but works better than any other approach I've tried.

Refer to something that caught your eye in their profile to show you actually read it. Check that your compatible with the people you're messaging, and that they're actually looking to meet single men. Show some humour, show them why they should meet you instead of the next guy.

Women will often look at the profile of a sender before even reading the message so make sure your profile is on the money too.

I think your message etiquette sounds fine. Make sure your profile is the best you can make it and keep being nice and respectful

Yup I always read the full profile, I always find being polite helps in real life but not so much online on here

It is something I'm open to but in all honesty the idea of going to one... especially alone is a bit daunting. Definitely something I'd like to experience one day x

Rather than writing a sales pitch on myself, i engage in conversatio n on something i have noticed on their profile. I got chatting to a friend on here because her status was "whats everyone up to?"
