They don't bother me at all, my daugher is terrified of them shes 24 and still lives with me because shes scared to move out incase she gets a spider and is alone so nobody to get rid of it, true story

I find the bigger they are the less scary they get.

Often held Rose Tarantulas and found that because they were a bit meatier and weighter than your regular house spider, it felt more like holding an actual pet like a small rabbit.

I'm not but the wife is, our 3 year old loves finding them around the house and stroking them like a pet haha, "hello Mr spider how are you?".
