It is called Fabswingers but people can choose how to use the site in anyway they wish too. You are not necessarily wrong but some think this is a good platform to find potential partners. I personally think it is probably 1 of the worst places but some beg to differ. So choose people who are like minded to you. |

Exactly. I don't think it's a dating site, far from it however it people do end up dating following successful meets |

I thought it was just a site for moaning about things and slagging off people that don't agree with you, or behave as you want them to?
Can't be a dating site because hardly anyone wants to actually meet up and those that do, don't turn up; timewasters! So it can't really be a sex site, either as that would involve meeting and intercourse.
Maybe it is just a site for smart arses, with their tongues firmly in their cheeks, to post responses to random topics in forums? |

it's all these things for me. 
seriously though i'm not a swinger in the way the OP thinks. trying to become part of the social side of it and it's going alright.
i also don't meet much, because most guys i have met think like the OP, and that's on dating sites too. |

I think there isn't a right way to use Fab. Admittedly I met Mr C on Fab as a single girl, I was also on POF and going on dates etc. So it CAN work for some people. Use either however it makes you happy. Life is too short. Miss C. Xx |

So, if us as a couple meet a single guy for a few drinks, and bring him home with us, was that a date or was it swinging? Well it can't be a date, because I sure ain't heard of a date for 3 people! However, if I meet a single on my own for a few drinks followed by sex, was that a date or was it swinging? I would regard that sort of scenario as a date because swinging by definition tends to be associated with sex involving more than 2 people in the room. So is this a dating site or a swinging site? I guess that depends on the scenario. What both scenarios have in common is that it's NSA.

I guess that might be the experience of some. From our experience is definately a swingers site/sex site. We've had no difficulty get sex via this site, and people always turn up for us. But there are too many men to go round, so many won't have such a good experience. But that doesn't make it less of a swingers/sex site.

I guess people can only speak to their own experience so for us it is just another place to feel rejected and ignored.
Want to be social but no one else is.

But you guys are only looking for single women or female only couples. That demographic is very small compared to the number of couples looking for this. And that demographic will be even smaller when you home in on those wonen who are looking for an MF couple. Do you really feel that they are missing out on what you have to offer? There are hundreds of couples offering similar to you. We personally wouldn't even attempt to search for a single lady or female couple, because we know we are unlikely to get that.

i'm too emotionally deep i meant. i can see how shallow a lot of things are on here, even the 'pleasantries' are often attention seeking actions. i like how things have changed on here and moved away from that tbh.
this isn't an attack on you at all. but really when people are pretty much only offering up their bodies and sexual titilation nobody is missing out coz almost everyone on here offers that. |

Each to their own OP. For some, like ourselves, it just happens. We certainly weren't looking for it but there's no hard and fast rules to the site. As long as all parties are happy then that's all that matters

It's a social networking site. Just the same as Facebook and Twitter. How you use that network is up to you.
Dating sites use your information to match you with others. This site leaves it up to the users to seek out others. The success of this depends entirely on the efforts of the user |

If you are a couple using Fab to meet singles or couples for play, or to attend swingers parties/clubs, then you aren't using it for dating purposes. This is because those activities are not by definition 'dating'. If you are a single looking to play with a couple or looking to attend a party/club then that's not really 'dating' either. So I think a fair chunk of Fab members would agree this is very much a swingers site. The grey area is when Fab is used for singles hookups. Is that NSA dating, or is it swinging, or it is something else entirely? Definitions blurt. I think that's when some single men get twitchy and start accusing women of treating this site as a dating site. When really what was happening was that the single lady just wanted a social aspect to the sexual experience, in much the same way as swinging couples would expect. But couples don't get questioned for wanting a social experience, whereas single ladies wanting the same thing get accused of treating this site like a dating site. I suspect a lot of guys who express this _iew aren't particularly interested in swinging either. I suspect what many guys using Fab were hoping that it is neither a dating or swinging site, but a hookup site for fast easy no effort sex.

I don't have a problem with people using this site however they want for whatever they want as long as they are clear on their profile about it so if its not what I'm looking for, I don't waste my time and theirs messaging them. |

I agree . With time we all evolve and our likes change.
We all have personal likes . I pay subscription and have many friends in swinging lifestyle but they all know as a single woman that is not my preference and they all respect that even when we go to clubs . |
