How far would you travel for a meet?

Is it just me or should distance really matter? Obviously if you want a fwb thing then it makes sense for the person to be near by. But if youre talking with somebody and you think you could have an amazing one-off/couple of meets, would the distance, the travel, the anticipation all be part of the excitement? |

Just travelled 3 1/2 hrs each wat to meet a lovely lady yesterday!
A regular fwb would preferably be closer but if you want to meet someone then distance isn't insurmountable.
I would say that if it is the first time you are meeting then phone / cam beforhand would be a guid idea to ensure you are both happy. |

60 miles. 120 miles round trip.
This is because it costs me 20 quid in fuel and anything more that would be pointless as I could just go to a club like Rios or eureka for less on a weekday.
If I have met girl before n think she's a stunner thend I'd travel further. . First time 60 miles which is normally Southampton or Oxford for me |

Oh it lasted at lot more than 40min (not bragging!). We wnet for a cuppa and a chat first then off to hers. Left about 7hrs later - well worth the trip!!  |

Coventry was the furthest I've gone. The journey consisted of 4 trains and a taxi in about 3 hours due to a couple of waits between trains.
Also Warrington and Shrewsbury which were both less than an hour and a half. I think that's pretty reasonable. |

We regularly travel 120 mile round trip for friends, we all have a blast when we meet up and makes it all worth while, but we have also travelled 350 mile for a meet. |

From here to london with a stay in a hotel then back the next day
London is the furthest I've travelled to but people have travelled from as far as Devon to meet me |

I drove 1 1/2 hours to meet a couple in their home (on two occasions), and I have had couples from Liverpool and Manchester travel to meet me. Living where I do, there is always at least a 30 minute drive involved |

I'm from Wigan, and chatted to a single girl from the Isle of Man. Exchanged phone numbers, the usual numerous chats over the phone and arranged for us to meet. Booked a hotel in Douglas and a return flight. Only to find when I landed in Douglas, that she deleted her profile and ignored all my calls and messages. Went and stayed at the hotel hoping to meet a vanilla girl on the night, but to no avail. So back to the airport the morning after and back to Wigan with my tail between my legs. So I'm reluctant to travel further than an hour now as I've had my fingers burnt |

Those were our thoughts entirely when we used to meet up. Most we travelled was 50 miles to a meet, no social beforehand. It was a disaster. |

sorry we carnt buy into hours or miles ect for meet.as when you meet you may not get on sex is not ever a garentee. either at meet clubs whatever.guys you may as well go to costa coffee 5 mins up road and talk to the 1st female you see got as much chance.and if it fucks up 5mins and you home . |

i can't travel but can accommodate and chatted to some one for a while who was some distance away. We did as he was flying from east midlands airport, so got to spend a very happy couple of hrs together. that would never of happened if we hadn't chatted for so long 1st. Somebody said to me always good to keep lines of communication open even if they are far away as you never know ... |

I've done 80 miles specifically for a meet before
I work away with work and today I've done over 300 miles so if you include that I'd have met tonight had a meet worked out so yeah 300 odd miles lol |

The issue is the further you are travelling the less likly the potential meet is willing to arrange with you |

I think we may hold the record for furthest travelled for a meet. After two meets in the UK we met in Montreal, after a few more meets we met in Hong Kong...6,000 miles and twelve hours one way..it really was worth it |

I have travelled long distances for meets before now, but I also find myself viewing profiles of women miles away and although they are attractive to me and seem to meet what they are looking for, I dont message them because the distance is big. I tend to foucs on profiles that are closer to me, mainly because meets are then easier to arrange because there are too many factors that can cause a meet to be re-arranged (work, family.....) |

Exactly...landed at JFK...had dinner that night at the Rocca Fella centre cafe and then went up it at night!
Then back to the hotel!
Spent the next day in Central Park and 5th avenue...was awesome!
Saturday went to a colours party! That was a blast!
Last day snuggled in bed!
