I have found myself logging in to fab purely to use the forums of late. I have not been searching and looking at people unless I've seen them contribute in the forums.
Seems a fun place to share a few laughs and it definitely offers better interaction.
I know I'm not the only one just using forums but what is your reason? |

"Just here for the forums.
Using Fab to try and arrange meets can be a pointless case of futility, so I gave that up ages back."
The forums are a fun (mostly) place and seems the best feature of fab |

There and to the left a bit |
The forums are a great way of getting to know people beyond their profile blurb - you can start to get a feel for their personality and what makes them tick. Likewise the forums also act as another filter to out those you wouldn't be interested in meeting.
In fact everyone I chat to privately with a view to potentially meeting has been "found" through the forums, or they've found me that way. So again a great tool if you're looking to meet.
They are also fun and can be informative, although the flip side of that is they can at times be frustrating and dredge up the worst in people, but if you can see that for what it is then they're a great and very important part of the site.
Surprises me that more people don't use them to be honest - as I'd say that the numbers that use the forums on a regular basis is in the hundreds as opposed to the up to 30000 members that are logged on at times. |

I totally agree.. I've found it a great way to get to know people rather than the initial mail type thing. I'll be on the forums for a long time to come. |

"what is your reason?"
Distraction. I don't have time and space in my life to meet at the moment, but a bit of a chat is a welcome distraction from everything that's going on in the real world. |

I see the forums and the meet part of Fab as very separate things.
The forums are good to waste time on but I am here to meet people.
I tend to meet non forumites on the whole. I have met people from the forums social and I don't know if it's because I'd got to know them more through the forums but I found that any sexual attraction had gone and they were more just friends I was meeting for a coffee. |

Im the same as you, I dare say that when I was on the site before, I became far too embroiled in the forums and that it was the forums that attracted me back. |

I mainly use the forums because I like arguing with people on the internet, especially when they have their cock or boobs out.
I can't currently be arsed with meets or messaging but when I can that coexists nicely with me titting about in the forums too. |

We probably stopped searching because after a few years of using Fab it got to the point where we knew quite a few people on the swing scene, and we struggle for time. So it's easier to meet old trusted friends than risk meeting someone new. We also find it easier to get to know people at clubs. We keep Fab going though because it's an excellent way of networking prior to attending a party, and it keep us up to date with what going on. Like getting updates of what our friends have been up to. And of course the forums are fun, but I shouldn't waste so much time on them.

Agree with this. Clubs has been my main meeting scenario for a while now and keeping contact with friends on fab helps |
