I've found over the years that some women and couples on here definitely don't match their amazing pics!! Yet others look 10 times better in the flesh than they do in their pics!! Yet I think a lot of us guys are guilty of seeing a stunning pic of a woman and wanting her!! But I've found that the ones I wasn't initially drawn too at first! They have then become the sexiest meets I've had on here?? I don't know if others have had similar experiences?? |

the guys whose pics didn't attract me tended to be the best meets i've had.
i think that putting too much effort into pics can mean they are more about appearance than actually being sexy, that's why a lot of porn looks fake coz it's adding to a fantasy of sorts rather than reality.
i've had veris saying i look better than my pics and that upsets me a bit, like i know i'm not gorgeous but do i look that bad in my pics?  |

I don't think they would have messaged you if they didn't like how you looked in your pics, but that you were even better looking in the flesh. I think it's a compliment, well at least I hope so, because I get told that a lot too  |

I've been surprised for the worse on meets where the reality wasn't as good as the pic.
Fortunately for anyone meeting me, I'm horribly unphotogenic, so even though I look attractive in my pics (after I've taken and deleted 12,999 gargoyle ones!) I am way more good looking in real life so they should always get a pleasant surprise!

Yes we've had this but to be fair we didn't notice when the pics were uploaded...over a year old!...that year wasn't to kind ...we get told we're better in the flesh and every meet we've had have always wanted/tried to meet again so we're obviously not that bad haha x |

Not really, no, I've pretty much always been more attracted to people in person than in their photos. Loads of people take shit photos. Probably means I'm the one disappointing people but so long as I get my end away I don't really care. |

My body can change in a few months, not that I show naked pics, but my face puts on weight too. I try to keep my face pics as current as possible. |

I know better now than to trust pictures!
I try to portray exactly how I look now so no one is disappointed!
I would rather they were pleasantly surprised.
I have some really flattering pictures - but what's the point!

I've always been told I look better in person....
However I've met some guys that have been loads better looking in person, but also a few that don't live up to the pictures!
Guess it just depends how photogenic you are... x |

I'm photogenic. So far no-one has seemed disappointed as a result, but I do tell them that in advance just in case. Maybe they're secretly horrified but too polite to say so, who knows? As to others, I've never been disappointed. Most of my meets with both sexes have been with people who don't have loads of pics on here. |

I have found that a lot of guys don't smile in face pics lol so I'm always happily surprised!
I make sure my pictures look exactly like me as I think it would be so embarrassing turning up to a meet and knowing you've disappointed them  |

This is me. I'll never know how I made it to page one and it wasn't even a photo I particularly liked! I'll get an idea for a pic and it'll take me over an hour to get right and even then I have to crop it or alter the lighting a bit.
I've been told plenty of times I'm better looking in the flesh and definitely think it's a compliment because I always worry I look like I do in photos and I really don't want to lol  |

I've never been told I look better in the flesh. The only conclusion I can draw from that based on the OP then is that I am obviously people's non-sexy meet. Mind you I have never made the top photo pages either so maybe I'm simply not sexy in 2 or 3D.

I love my pics! I feel so plain in regular life. However for a meet, I do try to match up to my pics (sadly I can't suck that tummy in forever, or hold the angle and light in such a way that my boobs permanently looks bigger. Photography is a wonderful thing - freezes that moment in time when I managed to look gorgeous  |

I spoke to a woman in a bar, asked for her number, added and sent her a message the next day. Her picture was either a few years old or had been on a detox at the time lol |

We just kidnap good looking people we find in the street and force them to pose for our pictures. Folk get a shock when they meet us but surely that's all part of the fun? |

I ended had it go both ways. I met one lady night who was NOTHING like his pics and worse still I had seen him on cam in chat too several times - proves it's not infallible.
Felt awful when he said I looked better and younger than on cam and in pics cause I certainly couldn't respond positively about him |

It always worries me that someone will meet me and think I'm not like my pics as I do put effort in to them. I draw the line at using filters and cropping as anything more I think is misleading. It's not happened yet so I hope I've got the balance right. |

I know my pictures are deceiving ... I'm a lot fatter in person (can't use angles in reality to hide wobbly bits) plus I think my face pics are better than what you get face to face.. |

I put a huge amount of effort into my profile pictures, getting the focus right, camera angle, pale blue lighting with an amber spotlight etc
Sometimes it's difficult on a meet because the spontaneity is ruined by the time I've lugged the lights upstairs |

I don't photograph well. But while I might find a more forgiving angle I never use filters, I always try to use the normal camera and not the selfie camera (it softens the finish result) and I try and make sure they're up to date. I don't see the point of false advertising |

Pictures are definitely deceiving, I always use flattering angles and lighting to make me look warmer as I'm quite pale in colour. They do make me look slimmer than I am.
When I receive face pictures, I often find that people usually look even better in the flesh, apart from the man whose photo was about 15 years out of date !

Im starting to get a complex over my looks. Everyone who actually knows me says how good looking I am. Yet, my photos seem to put people off on here. Perplexing to say the least. |

We met a guy for a social and are so glad we did,because he looked nothing like his pictures on the site we were on, plus he was about 20-25 years older than his profile age.

The only filter I use is the black and white filter but I am guilty of taking a few of my pics at the right angle
But I do not hid the fact that I am on the large size and I do have face pics of my face with and without makeup on |
