I've been on Fab now for a few months and spend a fair amount of time in the forums picking up nuggets of advice every now and then. However when it comes to first messages what are people's expectations? This is more for the ladies and couples because as we know us blokes very rarely recieved a first message. I've sent long detailed thought out messages and short brief ones but what does everyone prefer and what brings results? Thanks for your input. |

Short, simple and to save time , copy and pasted and attached pics. Don't bother wasting time writing personal messages and blitz as many suitable profiles as you can. Get blitzing |

It works for me, as long as it isn't a vulgar or cheesy message I can't see what else your supposed to write . |

The message needs to picque my interest. How it does that is up to the message sender based on my photos and profile text, or perhaps by my forum posts. I respond well to ladies wanting to get me naked. |

Something that says you've read and understood our profile and can offer us something that we want, that would also cater for your needs.
Any sign of a copy/paste or generic message is a turnoff. |

Not too much text but enough to show, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you have read my profile.
Polite, respectful and with a clear face pic. If your face doesn't fit and your profile is crap the perfect message won't help though |

To be fair with us a lot depends on the mood we are in when we read the message not necessarily the message itself, we have replied to one liners and not thought out messages and vice versa |

Definitely, absolutely, and totally not a cut and paste. If you are too lazy or disinterested to read a profile and respond to its content and say something about yourself, what does that say about the kind of playmate you are likely to be? |

The number that bother to read our profile seems remarkably low! |

Just for info
When I joined, within 1 minute I had 29 messages from guys wanting to meet. I didn't have any
Pictures up either.
Plus, the first couple of words only appear in messages. Make them count, the title of the message stands out more. If that's good the message stands a chance.
In my opinion..... |

Concrete proof that youve/they've read our profile. We're pretty well pissed of with people who have made it blatantly clear that they've just looked at our pics and then turned trigger happy and sent a message or a friends request whether or not we're their type or not. Just read the fukin profiles guys instead of looking at pics !!!!?? |
