I'm sure this topic has been raised before but here is my plea/observation for 2017.
To all single men expectantly winking and messaging couples. You stand precisely zero chance of success with a black silhouette.
I can't think of any reason why anyone would choose to go for the completely unknown over one of the (very many) single guys who bother to put up a decent picture and string at least a few sentences together.
