Would it be nice if you could opt out of receiving them so it says this person doesn't look at winks.

I, like many, never look at them so all these people who send them must assume I'm not interested when, in fact, I just never knew they were.

I tend to send a wink as a nod of appreciation of a profile, when I know there is absolutely no chance of us ever meeting up, but I would love to, if I could, you know?

I do look at them as I receive only few. An opt out feature would be useful tho.

(Next time I send you a wink I'll PM you to let you know )

I used to do that but means they can resend within 30days keeping them on list stops them

I like the winks, I've had some lovely chats and made new friends thanks to a cheeky wink

I did a post about this a few weeks ago saying they should get a "This person does not accept winks" so they can stop wondering

Messages at least they can see read not read deleted.

I used to ignore them but recently I've started to pay a bit more attention to them. I wouldn't message someone on the back of a wink but I will wink back if I like what I read on their profile.

Not entirely convinced it was the wink my friend. The body of a spartan tends to help. Good on you tho

We wink if we like someone, but we're not entirely convinced they'd be interested in us.

It gives people a chance to see we're interested and they can wink back or message if they are.

That said, having the option to not accept winks would be a good idea. We'd just grow a pair and message them instead!

Winks have become an irritant over the time on here. It's those who wink and then never reply to any message you bother to send that cause the most annoyance. Some have even blocked me.

I just ignore now, bulk clear them over timee and patiently await the option to turn them off to be added.

I don't look at mine. I did a few years ago but now I don't. If I've been perving on a profile and see they have winked, I'll message them but that's as useful as they are for me.

I love receiving winks. I always look and send a wink back or a message if they look really good.

I have been sending them out too if I'm in a rush and don't have time for well thought out messages etc.

May need to message more!

Eve. X

Having only ever received one wink, they don't pose too much of an issue for me!

;-)

I can imagine it's just another admin task for those that do get loads.

Simpler to miss the wink out and go straight for a juicy pm.
