Things matter to different people for a variety of reasons. And the reasons people put 'can't travel, can't accomodate' are unlikely to be simply 'because they can' - there will be reasons. But fundamentally it's fun to ask these questions on the forums and speculate and increase understanding even if the subject matter is unimportant.

Some put can't accommodate so it stops a lot of people who also can't, but they do on occasion. If that makes any sence

We don't accommodate because we want to keep this lifestyle away from our house where we raise our kids .. we dont travel at the moment because we have small kids and can't leave them anywhere for more than few hours - so only met at hotels under 10km from home. if the OP have problem with couples who don't travel and/or accommodate then the OP should skip and move on the next one rather than complaining.
