Breast check ups

Does any of you ladies ever get your GP to check your boobs for any problems regularly? Its a thing I always hate doing and wondered if others felt the same. X

No and iv never been offered by a doctor.

I go every 2 years for a mammogram. You get sent an appointment automatically when you get to 50 I think

breast check ups are not usually offered to women under the age of 50, unless you specifically ask for one

I check my own regularly. I did find a lump a couple of years ago and saw my gp who sent me to the breast clinic to get it checked. It only took just over a week from me finding the lump to getting the all clear.

I'm sure you'll have lots of offers from fab members claiming to be doctors that are willing to do this for you op !

Just got my first NHS invite in the mail today! Not a fun thing.

But have had regular mammograms in the US before I moved here; a cousin died of breast cancer at age 41 and others have had it too.

Always a good thing to get that extra opinion that all's well.
