So I'm not one of these who plays the numbers game of messaging 50 profiles a night in the hope that somebody bites. I send a couple of messages a week on average.
In doing so I attempt to put a bit of effort into my opening messages (on the whole), while at the same time feeling under pressure to not make it sound like a generic message that could be sent to just anyone.
So I'm looking for some advice as to what people expect from an opening message, what people put in theirs and just some general do's and do nots.
Thanking you all. |

"I always favour "I'd like to smash your back doors in" as it can be applied to anyone, just save it and cut/paste every time" if you add 'ya bitch' then you'll appeal to both men and women who want that guaranteed shaggability. |

I get "nice wellies". Works for me. Most of the time.
I seem to get a lot of eccentric people message me and we converse for a brief while about random stuff and then we go our seperate ways.
I'm not great at carrying on long protracted flirty messages.

OP You need to say something to show that you have read the profile. Such as admiring a particular photo or asking a question about something in the profile text.
I also think if you are looking for a meet, you should be sending more than two messages a week !

not far from iceland,,,,,, tescos is nearer though :-) (near leeds) |
Make it interesting, make it unique,
The long and short of it .. is if the other person(s) don't find you attractive it's unlikely to lead anywhere...
I often say the pictures get my attention the text keeps my attention |
