I think this is true. I'm a singleton myself and under 30 and even among the single guys, I dont think men my age are as common.
I too am noticing more people my age and even younger in the scene...from what I hear from the older swingers/couples I have met, it has its drawbacks. One thing I definitely dont like is the hyper specialization going on right now...
ONLY big cocks
ONLY black men
ONLY 6ft+
ONLY blonde hair
It seems so many profiles are just a big list arbitrary desires and requirements and I think it ties into the idiotic nature of most of the sexual expectations of people my age. Myself definitely included. Its like everyone is expecting some kind of porn shoot...except sex isnt porn, at all. Its the same with dating, as a young person you tend to care about the most irrelevant of attributes. Whats sad is that the internet is actually making this issue worse...with more and more turning towards online dating sites to meet other people, these same sites allow people to get way too unrealistic and specific about their expectations of the opposite sex.
It only really lends to huge population of spectators. I know a friend who went to a Killing Kittens event and he told me how disappointed he was in the amount of people not participating in the action. Who merely came to socialize and look pretty.
LOL rant over. |

And a proper couple of say 22 years but only one of them physically plays ad the other watches, real swingers?
As we're getting older it does appear this way, we've noticed many more profiles with ages below ours. |

At the risk of getting stomped on , we think personally , in our experience , that Fab has become full of lazy young single straight men, who can't accommodate , who don't bother to read profiles or write more than 5 word messages who expect to instantly come round to our house and screw both girls whilst our chap , who can't satisfy us as he's ancient feels extreme gratitude than we are about to get banged for hours . |

Kinda narrows your target audience if you insist on well hung, tall, blonde black guys |

We got into swinging in our early 20s. Our original profile was quite descriptive and specific - I cringe slightly at some of the stuff in it, looking back, lol |

"We are a genuine younger couple and attend clubs. We frequently get told that we are mature though and have been in the scene now 3 years x

Fair play to you, it's only sex and I think it's great that you're living your life to the full

We do seem to see more younger people on the site, and I don't just mean fakes, plenty of well verified profiles.
12 years ago young uns were a rarity, when we first got into this. Used to really freak people out. Lol. |

Can't comment on ' are they getting younger' but at Quest last night I noted how many young-ish couples there seemed to be.
I always had a preconceived idea of swinging as something slightly older people got into. Probably generalising a little bit but I think based on this thread it appears I'm not the only one. |

Time passing us by too, bit interestingly since both of us hit 40 we're now blocked from messaging quite a few profiles on age grounds, not quite sure that's indicative of anything though other than perhaps we've been demoted to the gawping at clubs role |

Being blocked by age on fab is a strange one. Last night in Cupids we played with 2 couples and after they gave us their fab names but we can't message because we are actually out of range!
So real-life appeal and online age-range aren't necessarily the same thing |

Lol always makes me laugh when couples claim singles aren't real swingers and then you check their profile and their veris are from singles |

One thing I have been wondering actually. I've noticed many times over the years that the scene has been getting quieter, but never thought to consider the fact that I was getting older...
Are guys in their 30s less attractive than the younger variety ladies? |

"Wouldn't class myself as a swinger, wannabe swinger definitely.
And what's a wannabe swinger? "
One day I would like to be in a relationship with someone who I could swing with as monogamous relationships don't work for me. |

We have found that we are quite "young" in the swinging world,
Especially on the club scene.
I'd say it's because as a young couple you need to have a very strong bond, something that usually comes from 10/15 years of marriage. Fortunately for myself and Eve, we've been together almost ten years and we're childhood sweet hearts so trust is something that comes naturally for us.
So after a few chats about fantasies etc... it led us here.
But I'd say in the grand scheme of things, we are quite young in the sea of swingers haha |

I think "sexual liberation" is becoming more widespread, and people are talking about sex with friends more than before, so understandable that people/couples are exploring sex at a younger age. Look at the popularity of apps like Feeld, aimed at people looking for threesomes/moresomes and even things like Tinder (which was initially intended as a hookup app). It's definitely becoming more "normal". |
