My relationships are open rather than swinging relationships. My partners aren't generally swingers and only one of my current partners is into casual sex.
I would imagine for it to be a 'swinging relationship' then you would both need to be swingers. |

My understanding is most swinging couples meet & play together / swap partners etc
My understanding of an open relationship is while you may meet as a couple & swap partners you are free to meet others alone too
I consider us to have an open relationship as we also do solo meets |

We're a bit of both. Primarily we are a swinging couple, in that we attend parties/clubs where we usually do group sex, and we meet single guys for MMF threesomes. However we also have a semi-open relationship in that we play separately. However the open aspect to our marriage is more of an extension to our swinging.

I guess I'm in an open ish relationship.
I'm allowed to have fun with people I meet from here or at clubs with my good lady wife knowing all about when/where I meet.
However, I'd much rather be in a swinging relationship with my wife involved. |
