We had the misfortune of a man with awful BO yesterday. We were enjoying a lovely hot tub session, chatting away with some other people, but one guy had awful sweaty armpits. To add insult to injury he sat with his hands behind his head..i was so tempted to mention it.. |

Well, hygiene is quite important,and having someone filthy to rub against is just not pleasant. Having said that, if, with all the rough and tumble during a particularly lively playful session, fresh sweat starts flowing, I do find that quite attractive. Reheated sweat is a no no.

Sweat doesn't smell. Fresh sweat is odourless. Which is why sweating during sex or football won't smell. The person who smelt goong into the hot tub obviously hasn't had a bath for a while and that's sweat that's lingered on his body for ages which is disgusting |

I think you will find that sweating as you have sex is ok as it turns the other person on more as it smells sweet x

Yuk. Seems like he couldn't be bothered to wash before he entered the club. I once worked with someone who who had terrible bo. He was reported by all the women there. |

I think it would have been no harm to ask the man discreetly to have a shower. Seriously if it spoils the fun I've no inhibitions to address an issue like this.
However as others said I'd never get into a club hot tub in the first place, perfect breeding ground for all sorts of germs. |

To be fair there is a condition were a person can sweat alot and even though they shower and wash frequently can smell.Even antiperspirant doesn't mask it for long. One of our son's started suffering with it when he was only 7 years old, Very unpleasant I agree but to them it's just natural and they can be unaware at just how bad.
Maybe just a polite word in their ear.
The good news is a simple procedure and it can be fixed.
Some obviously are just dirty people with no sense of self hygiene |

Not quite correct. Fresh sweat can contain aromas of certain foods, it can also smell off due to hormonal imbalance. Generally though BO is the growth of bacteria in stale sweat. |

I trim my armpits I don't shave theem just trimm the hair right back as I find the sweat evaporats faster and they don't really smell even by the end of the day |

6foot 2 does body building so big arms and big chest
And a huge amazon under his arms that stank and could always be seen sticking out of tshirts
Personal hygiene wasn't one of his priorities including down there
It's just common sense to trim and be clean not only for the person you are with but also to keep bugs away

I had a really weird "craving" when I was pregnant, I was obsessed with the smell of the fathers armpits! Freshly showered or after a days work, I just couldn't get enough.
He thought I'd lost the plot! Haha
