Why are people so reluctant to attend a socially organised swinging meet within a pub, does it purely come down to the problem of discretion, i am talking about a group meet as regarding this, your comments please... |

We don't do socials, we get very few nights out so when we do have a free evening we like to make the most out of it by going to a club. I'm not certain we'd go to socials even if we had more time, but that's not down to potential lack of discretion just we like clubs. |

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
Have you announced to the site that there's a social on a particular date, or have you messaged your favourite locals and invited them individually?
I ask because I can't see the announcement via the green arrow, and can completely see why an invite to a "group" social from OP may go unaccepted.

I've arranged a few and had very good attendance.
I've attended a couple arranged by others and they have been poorly attended.
Some people lack the confidence to walk in to a bar alone and chat to people they don't know; some people are purely here for sexual fulfilment and have no intention of socialising; some are probably not single and therefore reluctant.
There could be many reasons but if organised well you can get some great people to attend.

"Who has attended a socially organised meet in here "
I've attend a few love a good social me, think some are still confused their not sure how a bunch of swingers are capable of such a thing as getting together as a group and just talking they seem to think they are gonna be all naked and fucking going on or at least the people I've spoken to have thought this. |

i arrange them in my local area, thinking of doing more of them as well but in my town.
many people do want to be discrete but a social is discrete, we're not all kissing, stroking and fucking in the pub.
many people just have other commitments so can't make it to socials. timing is everything and i have people interested in coming to mine but the time isn't good for them to get there. |

I've been to a couple, I know of its advantages as it has helped me get to know the people in my area and thus arranged some play meets from them. But I can see why others may be apprehensive about turning up to one. |

I love a good social
My work takes me to a number of locations on a regular basis so a social drink with someone every now and again suits me perfectly. It's just a case of finding someone who is happy with the same.
