I suppose to some people there will be no difference I guess.
It is quite funny how a guy can go round shagging as many women as he can get his hands on and that's classed as a cool thing, where as a woman does it and she gets called a slag. |

I'm not really sure what a slag is other than a derogatory label used by others. Maybe it's the media image of a woman who goes out dressed in provocative clothes and who gets pissed down a club before taking the nearest bloke behind the wheelie bins... then can't really remember it in the morning. Who knows.
A swinger is someone who wants to meet others for uncomplicated sex and to share some intimacy. It's a more controlled and thoughtful way of having fun as I see it.
It's sad that a woman who has many partners can sometimes be called a slag but blokes who do the same are seen as studs. Goes back to deep seated caveman stuff I reckon.   |

The word slag is a derogatory term, an insult. There are some women who enjoy sex and are confident and comfortable to go out and indulge to their hearts content, there are some women who do not wish to have many sexual partners, there are some women who wish to have the confidence but do not so but are happy to abuse those that do in order to knock the others' self confidence - then there are swingers, I look on swinging as a hobby  |

I assume it is because you show a lot of verifications and the frequency of them.. well that is totally your business and if YOU are happy with that, that is all that SHOULD matter.

To me it depends on who is looking at it.... many vanilla people would label everyone of us slags.
I don't really worry... but prefer the world slut... but only one man gets to call me that and not have his face slapped.
I actually think of slag as more being the type of woman that hurts others feelings.... maybe has multiple men and tells them all she is exclusive...
I don't really see myself as a swinger either, more a sexual explorer....
I'd ignore petty people... and be flattered that they see you as such a threat.

I personally wouldn't worry about it, we don't listen to what others think of people, we would rather form our own opinions. If these men are listening to this other woman and are not forming their own impression of you they are clearly not worth your time.

A few people define swinging as couples only. Personally I don't care too much for labels and the endlless debate/argument over them and it doesn't phase me.

Oh boy has this post got my back up. From the last post just who is this woman. To me the only one not worth meeting is her. Just look at it this way. Shes more than likely jealous. At the face you have met afew guys that she would like to meet.
We are all here to have fun. I have a high sex drive that needs feeding. I dont mix drink and sex. I like to know exactly what im doing and what is happening. And most importantly with whom.

I guess what you have to think of is who's using the word...
For me from another woman it equals that they are jealous... not confident in themselves to do it etc..
If its from a man.... depending on who. It could be a compliment. An insult because I dare to refuse his manly advances.. or a term of endearment...
However, Master would quickly hit the block button to those that send us the

I have friends who accept derogitory terms, its another case of each to their own, and depends on what they want from u, I dont go round saying fucked this slag last nite etc etc...its all in the time or place that that would happen...some get off on it some dont...its about being variable to ur meets needs i suppose

A swinger has standards I guess, though I'm not too fond of a lady being called a slag just because she isn't ashamed to admit that she loves sex with different people. Funnily enough I believe sex is meant to be pleasurable? It is a bit rich to call a woman with a lot of conquests a slag, while a man in the same position is applauded for his actions. I suppose it is because to get sex a woman simply has to take her clothes off and say "Who wants it?" Women on the other hand usually want the whole package so to appeal to women a man has to have some nous about him, take care of himself, be reasonably good looking as well as being charming, therefore the fact he can get sex regularly with lots of partners is seen as a reflection of possessing all the other attributes that make him desirable. |

For me any of the above words can be used to as you say attack women and personally slag falls in to the same.
however, all the above will at some time been used in the heights of passion too...not by me I hasten to add! Although I do remember one lady who loved to be called a slut!
Generally though these words are used once they've lost the argument and reached the end of their vocabulary..
You can choose to show as many verifications as you want; it's your profile.
I choose not to show friends and I must admit that when I see a profile with a friends list as long as your arm and no verification that they are pic collectors, I could be totally wrong....but I wouldn't contact them and "slag" them off for doing so..

I have often thought about the words we call each other in the throes of passion....
In the world of BDSM, slut/whore etc are common words used in the humiliation of the SUB woman.
"SLAG" apart from to slag one off for misdeamours etc... is a filthy degenerate word used to demean a woman usually as stated before who goes into the local pub, gets pissed and grabs the first guy and fucks his brains out behind the bins. Especially if done on a regular occurrence and with various different guys.
Rightly or wrongly that is my understanding of the term SLAG
However, people in this Nation that feels the need for titillation in Carry On Films, Seaside Postcards etc....but scorns anyone who dares acts out of the "norm" have to put labels on everything.
SWINGING is just that....Consenting adults who meet on a friendly basis at socials parties etc and act out their sexual frustrations and fantasies with in some cases, complete strangers.....
I am confused however at why anyone who would join a Swinging community would demean another member of that community by calling her such a filthy word unless out of simple jealousy because she is not receiving the same attention or is participating the same amount of fun as the OP on this thread.

I think there are a few separate issues here really.... is someone entitled to look at the verifications of someone who has just asked to meet them and decide... no this person is not really what Im/we are looking for? I think that most people would agree that the answer is yes (no matter what their reasons they are entitled to making their own choices....)
Are they entitled to message said person and call them unpleasant names and show general bad manners... think most people would agree that this is not so.
Lastly are they entitled to tell a guy who has asked them the reason that they dont wish to meet? Again, personally think that this is their right too.
I think that jealousy is unlikely to be what is happening here... maybe just some people who dont want to meet others who are heavily into the scene. Its just my opinion, but feel Im entitled to it.
That being said, best ask yourself why you are so bothered and if you heard this secondhand from guy you have met... why he told you? Wasnt necessary was it? |

Ignore both.
I am always surprised on a site where people are looking for sex that women still get called slags for getting it.

The difference, is what you make it.
If you find it insulting, then it is.
If you find it not insulting then it's not.
You could call a girl or a boy who slept with 1 person a slut, you could call a person who slept with multiple people a swinger.
Neither would define the person or tell you anything about them.
As for slag being a definition purely for females, well I think that's an old way of looking at things, I've know males be called slags as well as females. |

meeting people is great and i always get a buzz out of seeing someone new.

Slag could be applied to both male and female people.In the circles I moved in it meant someone who was not to be trusted.
Swingers are people like anyone else so we must have our share of "slags" and "Saints".
Having a higher sexual drive or at least admitting that humans are very sexually driven does not make anyone and women in particular a "slag".
Swingers on the whole are some of the least xenophobic and perverted people I have ever met.
The public perception of us is slags and perverts.However how many of those who would persecute us would love to do what we do? |
