Unfortunately I have had

A back spasm, viral conjunctivitis and the best friends relative die in last 2 1/2 months and I was being honest ......I do wonder if they believed me ......
I lost
My mobile phone (sat nav) and I don't remember how to get to your place (landmarks a plenty) for the fifth visit and I've lived in Manchester all my life .....

Suddenly feel unwell. 2 days later has a new veri up describing a meet within 48 hours.
Oh, the best one. "Wait I thought it was clear, I expect you to book a room, if you can't do that in the next hour no meet." Checks messages. At no point was a hotel room discussed. |

had a guy say he ran over his dogs foot when going out the front door and had to take him to the vets at 9.30pm .... 2 months later he mailed me on my single profile didn't realise it was the same female ! got chatting and when I said I had a dog here he said he couldn't meet as he was allergic to the hair lol.
Our funniest was actually during a meet with another couple and hubbys phone kept getting txts .. eventually he read them and remembered he was meant to be at a funeral the same day ! so there were the 3 of us in bed naked watching my husband putting on a white shirt and black suit to go to the funeral, we did wait for him to leave before getting on with the fun between us three ...... just didn't seem right to start shagging while he was there lol xxxx |

Apart from crappy excuses, there are some people who make profiles, and after a few messages your thinking to yourself "this person sounds up for it", you go as far as suggesting a meeting point etc also, but they end up getting cold feet, or end up deleting there account.
Ok, I've had to cancel meeting, but they were genuine.
I always try to confirm the day before and even on the day of meeting. |

We've cancelled plenty of meets
Car broke down on the way there - it was a Peugeot i suppose
We had to take our puppy to the vet - he decided to open Mrsdpts handbag and find a bag of chocolate after we'd been to the cinema
Time of month - self explanatory
Hay fever - I wasn't meeting anyone when I looked like a pufferfish.

Ours was her dad had a heart attack that's fine but an hour later another text saying could we make it the next night lol another one who plays the numbers game and we were not top of the list |

Sometimes its real. I had to cancel a Meet cos I got a terrible cold. No one wants to see a tgirl with a running nose who is hacking all the time. I was gutted and hated to let the guys down but just didnt feel attractive. I always arrange to meet a few guys at a time and its a lovely surprise when they all turn up! |

I've had two mothers of potential meets die (I do believe they did), and several with terminally ill relatives (a lot less believing of these). I have some kind of death by association superpower. |

We had a social planned with a lady and about 10 minutes before, we were getting texts and phone calls saying she going to be late, her car had then broken down and the roadside assistance was taking a while to fix the car. All quite possible, except partner swears he thought he saw her walk through the bar. She had veris, so was genuine, but I didn't think we were that scary! |

On another site, we were going to meet a woman but 2 days before the meet, her mum died.
We were messaging one of our friends who was also a friend of the lady who's mum died. Guess what? They were going to meet some weeks before but she cancelled because her mum died.
There's us thinking that there was only one resurrection but it's more common than you think !!! |

We've had, "our pics not upto date so we not the people your looking for after arranging a meet sorry we can not meet now ?
Oh and the other half does not like the look of you after talking for 3/4 days and arranging a meet so who was we taking to then.
On the day "meet" car broke and parked outside our house so sorry we can not meet today/night will arrange another day pardon we was driving to yours at night my car is fine ?
They all could be genuine who knows, we all just want a good fuck and fun then go and enjoy life and have that naughty tingle afterwards and share the fun we had if your a couple.

I've cancelled because of colds. I get guys saying they don't mind and still want to meet which makes me go and  cus snot really isn't sexy. |

Arranged a single guy a couple of weeks in advance. On the day of the meet, "Could I cancel and rearrange tomorrow because the football is on".
Another one, on the day, "Sorry, I've got no legs below the knee cap".

I cancelled a meet just yesterday .
Stunning looking girl as I did knock on the door .I'd also shopped and got her some drinks .....
I'd showered shaved trimmed ironed a shirt. Polished my Chelsea boots .sprayed loads of my expensive aftershave on (creed). In fact spent 2 hours getting ready as usual .
As I say a srunning looking very attractive girl and certainly not her fault .....
It was a neighbour ...they commented as I knocked on her door " another customer"
The comment was made just before she opened the door .I handed her the shopping bag of drink and said awfully sorry I have to go and left.
Mainly through embarrassment and wondering if the neighbour would call the police or damage my car or something ridiculous.
She's has a few meets consecutively (some just socials). Clearly her neighbours thought she was offering sex services from her house.. |

We had a guy not turn up, and when we rang to see where he was his phone wasn't answered. Message later that he had driven 45 miles to meet (which he clearly had because he described our car!!) but had come out without any money so could pay for the car park. |

Clearly states on our profile we don't accom. Seems whenever we turn someone down we are branded fakes or timewasters |

At least some of you guys got a reason.
We've had a few cancellations where after days of back and forth we've been blocked on the day, or worse the other people just went dark altogether.
Sooooo frustrating when you have kids and all meets have to be planned |

I know folks cancelling on you can be frustrating, and I appreciate some coming up with lame excuses probably had no intentions of turning up anyway at least they had the decency to let you know they weren't coming. Surely the bad ones are the ones who don't let you know they're not coming. |

My record was a lady arranging four meets with me in the same week and cancelling the lot.
The one I get now and again is
"I'm just too nervous. Haven't been on here long and not long out of a long relationship"
Funny how they are still on FAB and wasting the time of other people too.

Cancelling a meet isn't a problem shit happens in people life's or they get cold feet. The problem we have is we've spent a week chatting to a couple on here they asked us to go on WhatsApp so we could all talk together. So we did we set a meet up for this saturday we were all flirting and they said thy had booked a hotel ( witch we offered half towards even though they were staying in the room so they could drink. We messaged them last night on what's app just a general message is was read and ignored. We thought ok they might be busy so left it a few hrs. They saw they were on line on fab went to message them The message would send as somewhere between seeing them in line and typing a message they had blocked us. So we send a message to the on what's app asking if they had changed there mind it gets read and they leave the group chat. Now there isn't any reason to be so rude a quick message saying they were no longer wanting to meet is all it took. They were verified and had face pics everything seemed genuine. But you just can't tell these days and we thought with all the filters checks and experience we've got on her we could flush out the time wasters lol |

We also met up for a social with one girl, all got on so decided a play meet was in order. We texted loads swapped some naughty pics etc. She genuinely seemed up for a meet. Couple of hours before she was due at ours she stops replying, haven't heard from her since. Noticed she's back on here now only looking for single men. Must have been all talk about wanting to meet a couple! |
