somewhere

I wouldn't say its a big trend on FAB. I think you would find this no matter what site you are a member of. Me being a single male I've been stood up by couples a lot but I do not attest this to the website just to those individuals

We have never had a no show. Then again we do chat to people for quite a while before we arrange to meet them. So we feel that we already know them a little before we meet in person.

I guess people get cold feet and decide against a meet if you are a complete stranger. Try and build a rapport with people before you decide to meet.

Well, we have had several no-shows in the time we have been on here, plus cancellations at the last minute due to little Timmy having fallen down the well and having to go get Lassie to rescue him!

Just as frustrating are the people that do turn up, ask you all the same info thats in your profile ('What you in to?' etc) and then tell you that your not what they are looking for or that there was no 'spark'.

My God, we do look just as bad in person as we do on our pictures!!

The most annoying kind of no show, is when someone contacts YOU asking for a meet at theirs, you say when your able to meet them, they then choose the time and date, then not actually send you the address even on the morning of the meet.

Then they read your messages saying you thought they wanted a meet and was going to give their address, but never reply back.

Though I tend to find the biggest dreamers \ time wasters have the same trend of message content.

They will start off talking normally and sometimes polite, then it's as if a bombs gone off and they start messaging saying they want to drink your hot sticky cum and will fuck you every which way, as if the fantasy is over taking them, then they stop all messages.

Fucking retarded wankers

Never had a no show, never failed to show.

At this point i remember something Fabio wrote, if the site isn't working for you, perhaps it is the way you are using the site.

i can't tell u what we are doing right, and what you are doing wrong, but perhaps it is worth considering.

have to disagree, quite often we decide the night before we want a threesome, our shortest time ever was 6 hours. You can get to know ppl all u want, doesn';t mean they will show up.

We can see your point. We must be lucky then. However if we did have a no show,we would just block and move on.Never take things personally.

i don't think its luck, but having a "system" that works for you.

But your last sentence is so true,it should be the golden rule of swinging!

I think there's a process where people who haven't met yet think they want to meet while they're turned on in front of the computer but in the cold light of day anything can shake their resolve. So they don't show, then they find themselves turned on again and start making excuses for not showing. I've had somebody come back to me after two weeks to apologise for not showing up.

I certainly took a while to start meeting, thinking I wanted to then thinking I didn't, but I recognised it and waited until I was absolutely sure I could go through with it. I can understand people chickening out but I just wish they'd admit it and let me know sooner.

how do you know its an excuse? they could be real genuine reaosns why they cant make the meet and maybe they fully intended to go at the time of arranging

We all have a real life and sometimes things dont go to plan and that comes first

Back of Beyond

Only ever been let down by one couple, who never turned up at the rendervous TWICE. learned our lesson there.

What gets our goat are the people who happily chat away to you for weeks on here because its anonymous. Then when you suggest meeting, even on neutral ground just for a coffee, suddenly turn illiterate. They don't reply but read your messages, you send a second message with the same result.

For us it goes to a third message with something along the lines of thanks for wasting time over the last few weeks, enjoy the block.

Thats where any prospectives end for us.

since my name has been mentioned... i'll give my two penneth....

so to the OP I say this...

in all my years of swinging (6 now... Do I get a testimonial when I get to 10??) I can count the amount of "timewasters" I have had on 1 hand....

this is going to now sound really really harsh....

one timewaster can be said to be unlucky,

2 or 3 may be said to be unfortunate....

lots and lots of timewasters is a trend!!!

only one person can change that trend

and the common demoninator is you!!!

so I would question the method of how you go about choosing people, I would also question how you do your due diligence...

the problem is that it is always "the other persons fault".... the person who starts these types of threads is always "blameless".... its funny that...hmmmm

if something isn't working... don't moan about it...Change it!!!!
